Spoiler: Meanwhile in Drachovia
Spoiler: the war
Penarian Nation's army in a nutshell
It was bound to happen eventually.
THIS MEANS WAR!
Hah, as if you would want to fight me!
O really? Let me just have a drink
As your WA Delegate i command you to stop the fighting!
You do not want me to send in my Giant killer Death Robots (GKDR) to intervene!
(go fight it out here http://atwar-game.com/home/ )
AUGH! THE GUN ISSUE IS BACK! Should I ban guns? Also, should I let people have multiple wives/cats/husbands?
I found that if you want to increase your civil rights, letting people have guns and people have multiple spouses does so greatly.
OH NO! EVERYONE'S DYING OF MURDER AND BEING LOST IN THE WOODS NOW!
I pretty much let my guys do whatever the hell they want, so long as it isn't fucking stupid. Polygamy? Sure. Banning video games (which is actually an issue)? No fucking way.
I also regret having the spartan arena buildt now
Yeah, but EVERYONE'S BEING LOST IN THE WOODS, EXPOSED AND STRUCK BY LIGHTNING! WHUT IS EVEN HAPPENIN?
Good thing it's not happening to me.
I think I gave everyone gun rights, but then I also made any crime basically have the death penalty...
Can we have like.. Actual elections for WA delegate and all the positions?
I agree ^
Here's my fledgling state: http://www.nationstates.net/nation=elaanat
Too bad there's no Yang-Tzu on that map.
In that case, can I have Nordskag (or some portion since my nation is still really small)?
EDIT: Also how do I join the Aloria Region?
the one with the msot endorsements becomes the WA delegate.
btw, you totaly should endorse teh mighty Fox Federation!
Nah man, endorse Nihajistan. We have streakers and tribes of bureaucrats living deep in the woods.
-no civil rights
-outlawed political freedom
-restrictive gun laws
-tax rate of 47.1%
-even distribution of wealth
-gets rid of dissidents
-increased military and police spending
Drachovia is literally the love child of Nazi Germany and the USSR.
Oh well, gotta throw some people under the bus to progress...
Under teh devine guidance of the mighty fox we have no yought related crime at all and corruption is on an all time low! While we have a very strict rule our people are enjoying a lot of freedom in their personal lifes!
I made the crimes fight in a arena with cats. It's descirbed as claws and blades.
OH MY GOD WTFTUROWIETGF WEKLIGT
Despite having hardly any right, Drachovia at least has a beautiful landscape that has been preserved with me destroying any and all corporate fat cats and their stupid family empires.
Also, fun fact: we eat dragons. Big, fire breathing lizards? Yeah, we barbecue them.
I'm going to make a new nation, but I probably won't put it in Aloria. I'm going to try making the economy as good as possible while also making political and civil rights as bad as they can get.
[salt]Yeah, I've been playing this game for nearly a year now, I know how the WA works.[/salt] Many regions have formal elections to ensure the most qualified person gets the position, and we should too.
you seem a bit salty
need some water?
i'm just new to the game, i know jack shit about it, but for everything is a first time right?
Yeah, it's fine. I've always preferred salt over sugar. And thanks for the water!
Is the WA Delegate just the nation with the most endorsements? Everyone just needs to endorse the person they feel is most qualified.
Hi, welcome to Drachovia!
Ok. Best of luck.
Password is "NSMassiveCraft" upon attempting to join. I am as of now adding the Yang-Tzu islands for your nation, they will be on the extreme right of the map.
@LyonTheBrave - Added Penarian Empire on Old Ceardia.
@Xerxes145 - Added Elaanat on the Yang-Tzu islands (extreme east, practically tossed off the map lol)
@Gabauchi - Added Gabauchi to Etosil
The Regalian Archipelago would like to extend it's territory by occupying the eastern part of Ithania and the island of Silverwind.
Oh, so that's where the Yang-Tzu islands are at.
Well, learn somethin' new every day.
Damnit I JUST updated the freaking map -_-
I assume it's where they are - the wiki only says "far east" of Aloria.
@Lord_Aza - Regalia now controls SilverWind & parts of Ithania. Due to Wellestria's influence in the region, as well as the other nations in the immediate area, you were unable to gain control of a large portion of Ithania.
@Mecharic - Al'Darub now controls parts of Teled Methen and Sendras, due to population expansion.
Add to my land the two islands and more land in to Old Cerdia
@Mecharic I recall seeing an image of the Yang-tsu being a cluster of islands somewhere southeast of Faradeen and Caerdia. EDIT: 'ere.
Also, if nations are gonna claim more land, can we RP that out instead.
only when thre is a massive influx of citizens you should claim more land, otherwise the only thing Mecharic is gonna do is change that map and that's not fun for him.
and for wars, again i direct you to te "atwar" game that has been mentioned several times before.
With regards to claiming land, there will be 2 methods of doing so:
1) Population Growth - so long as your nation has unclaimed land around it you can claim said land. You will need 100 million+ population to expand your borders (so, @Lord_Deadpool, you cannot claim more land as yet). After that, 1 billion people. Once you have 1 billion people you will no longer be able to expand borders through population growth, but by then you'll have the better part of an entire continent. You cannot claim a rivals territory using population growth.
2) Capture - Through war, diplomacy, or economic activity you can take the land of your neighbors. Doing so will require a private-conversation with me & the owner of the nation you're Capturing land from. You can roleplay out any of these or play a game to see who wins the Capture. Any game will do, could be an online game of Chess, a Civilization game, atwar game, or even using a set number of challenges from NationStates (get screenshots) so long as I am made aware of it.
Do note that you should factor in the rival nations capabilities when targeting them. You also need their permission to do so, since we want everyone to have fun even if it means you can't have you dream of ruling all of Old Ceardia.
