Massive had a nice simple chat until now. The new chat has arrived. Here is my view on this point:

No faction relation colored names in chat /rc command added, lets use colored prefixes like [E]/[A]/[T]/[N] for enemy/ally/truced/neutral

— No Premium tag, lets use lime color as it was Star symbol added

— No favourite color, lets use {F} prefix
Heart symbol added

— Not only staff color, lets use colors as they were (yellow/orange/cyan)

No italics, just no

Some Examples:

[General [A] {F} OnePremium]: Hi
[General [A] {F} Game3 OneStaff]: Hi
[Faction {F} OnePremium]: Hi
[Faction {F} Game3 OneStaff]: Hi
[Alliance {F} OnePremium]: Hi
[Alliance {F} Game3 OneStaff]: Hi

For me it would be a way more easier to navigate, understand and the chat itself would be less motley.

Edit: Since faction relation colors are now only shown on the nameplate(above the head), relation tags are no longer essential, but I still would like to see them in chat.

I also have a few more ideas for the chat as it is now:

— Override favourite color above person's head if this person is an enemy to your current faction, so it would be easier to see them in fights. Or always use tag I suggested before (only on nameplate)

— Override Premium tag with a special tag {P} for smaller nameplate

All joking aside. This is an exelent idea.

I agree with most of this, I think we should still keep the faction relations as the way it is atm but I totally agree with making the premium tag like a [P] instead of the full word.
