Notices have been placed up around the city, each one neatly written.

I, Countess Amber Silverberry, will make my side of the situation known and to clarify any uncertainty one may have about myself or the situation I reside in. This explanation comes from my experience in this entire process, information I deem true.

To start with the most obvious topic, I had not known about the potential political marriage between Count Norinn and Countess Nayëlen until the very day it was placed into my lap without warning. I had been given no hints or time to prepare myself for this information. I was conflicted due to my love for the Count yet this conflicted with my personal beliefs.

I felt many things in that moment, mainly confused on why this was happening. But the main thing I took away from this was the feeling of betrayal and hurt from the man I thought I loved. During that moment, I stated that I needed time to process this information

During my confused state, I agreed to the marriage but I have had the time to process the information that had been given to me. I had come to realize that this was something that I did not want to be a part of. I was someone who preferred a marriage between myself and one partner.

I understand that the information had been twisted by those within and outside of the situation, something I am not pleased of, even if it is out of my control with how publicized this had become. The story had been twisted into the favor of one party or another, trying to sway people into their favor. It was not meant to become this big but what is done is done. Words nor actions cannot be taken back nor the broken hearts that will remain when the situation comes to pass.

I simply cannot address everything in a single notice as it would only go on for an unnecessary amount of time and details. But if one wishes to inquire further, I would prefer that they seek the information from those actually involved.

Amber Silverberry,
Countess of Baybridge,
Matriarch of House Silverberry
