My First (serious) Forray Into Architecture...

I've always been interested in minecraft architecture, but I've never thought that anything I made was good enough by any standards. So I created a mage's tower, because my faction is a little devoid of towers (or anything, really). I think it went well, but the tower turned out a little bit... Phallic.

Penis shaped tower aside, I would like to hear everyone's constructive criticism, and whether or not I should add it to my faction. If I do, please don't delete it admins, I didn't mean for it to look like it does, and I don't know how to rectify it without changing everything.

Make the whole thing wider and redo the top of it into a dome not a diamond shape. Without the flag so all you do with the flag is put it on the side of the building.

The key is with tall stuctures is to thin them out at the top to make them look higher, even with normal FOV. If you go out it looks a bit modern (or in your case, phallic). If you ever need to leave the server though, put 2 domes at the base as a final gift to the world.

I actually think that looks rather decent, just err don't use glowstone as lighting, I hate it's texture.

Looks good to me. But I would remove the glowstone.
