MrsBaver was first sighted since the destruction of Ceardia in Regalia. After a short attack in the common district, she claimed the corpse of Rosalyn Beauveret that was laid to rest in a coffin in the Regalian Mausoleum.

An assembled mob interpreted this as the Beauveret's being tied to the demons, however the Banshee was also heard saying she would soon have the Anahera son-of-wench to serve her as well.

As the mob attacked the Beauveret mansion and got inside, the lower sections of the house suddenly ignited and the house quickly caught ablaze. The Beauverets managed to escape by jumping out of a window in Marie's bedroom, else they would surely have perished in the fire that caused serious damage to the Fong Mansion and Anahera Mansion as well, as the fire spread trough the gardens to other noble houses.

What do you think happened? Do the Beauverets really support the demons? Or are the Anahera's the real demon supporters? Or perhaps the demons had infiltrated the crowd and both families were just used as pawns to create chaos and strife among the population!

BOBBY-COCK! Those demon-wenches have ad their own dead daughter converted to a void-devil! Now they want one of my dear grandsons?! How dare they!!! Arrest them!!! I WANT THEIR HEADS ON SPIKES!!!

~Senator Celine of the House Anahera

The Beauveret family has obviously fallen to darkness. While not all the family may be guilty, surely the head is corrupted. Best cut the head off and let the body die than let the rest of the snake fall to demons.

As for the Anahera family, Posidem is a mage. Magic only leads to misfortune and demons... the Banshee was obviously speaking of the mage Anahera.

Another Mrs. Baver attack that I miss? Why??? WHY???

Cruallassar reads the notice, and immediately sets out for the mansions where Mrs. Baver was sighted, hoping to get to the bottom of this mystery, and learn more about Mrs. Baver.

Valentino Sangiovese was struck by lightning while rallying the crowd outside the Beauveret mansion. Interpret it as you will.

Stahp throwing wrenches in my wedding damnit! On the up side, my house is pretty much layered in stone - no fires here!

I doubt that the Anaharas or the Beauverets are worshiping demons, Baver was probably just trying to cause chaos and gain power. If the city starts to fight itself then she will be able to claim all those within and not even need to fight for their souls. I suggest that Madam Anahara calm herself down and think - why would the Beauverets allow something like this to happen, and why would Baver reveal an allegiance to them? That would only weaken both Baver and the Beauverets, which would not be useful to Baver. The same can be said about the Anaharas, why would Baver reveal any allegence to them knowing it would destroy them? The only answer is that Baver wants both families to destroy each other and take the city with it - something that could easily happen if another mob sets fire to more houses. I think both sides of this conflict should, for the survival of the city, put down their weapons and meditate on what Baver could be trying to do with these actions.

I would also like to make it clear that any Beauverets, Fongs, or Anaharas displaced by the fire can find some level of shelter within the Paloin Manor. You may need to sleep in the nursery, but that's still better then sleeping in a burned out hulk of a house, right?

~Duval Paloin

I had been the first to breach the Beuaveret walls, and after getting close enough to attack them i was confronted by Baver herself, i attempted to fight her but she simply dissipated. Then the flames came and i escaped out through the roof, though my belongings have been burned. Weather or not the Beuaveret's caused this disaster remains uncertain, but we know the dark banshee was involved.

A smooth mumbling rolled off the fangs as Rioshi stares blandly with soft wet slaps of his eyelids down and up in rapid succession. He moves momentarily to whip his tail back and forth with a light huff. Instead however, the huff got caught upon the seaweed growing in the coral maiar's throat, the smooth tailed body thrashing in asphyxiation before settling back into the fountain. Wearily picking itself up, a slightly deadpan shrug answers the initial inquiry posed by one of the common folk loitering around his small puddle. Why did everyone during the event seem to enjoy nuzzling cold clammy scales and skin when the district was burning down around them?

Humans were odd, sometimes.

Francesco spits on the ground and mutters to himself

"Mister Kade allowing these whores and wenches into his home... hmph. Perhaps after losing his engagement he's become lonely. If Grailen were 'ere he would 'ave 'ad her head before that Kade could come in... Then again Grailen isn't 'ere anymore. Everything, especially Grailen, has been merely a distraction from my goals up until this point."

Sighing Francesco realizes that life in Regalia will soon be changing, he is after all the Patriarch of the Medavinci family, no longer a lesser but responsible for the Family.

Shaking his head, he heads off in the direction of the Slums, a plan developing in his head

A child. A child.
This is the kind of corruption that fuels beings like the Dark Banshee. Not vampires. Not magic.

Murder. Cold blooded murder.
And against a child, no less.

Dearest Alen,

Apparently something's happened in Regalia today, involving the Beauverets and the Anaheras. I'm sure you've heard about it.

Are we still siding with the Anaheras? If so, I'd highly encourage this to stop. Of course, as individuals, we may support or defy whoever we please. But I believe in this entire conflict, we remain neutral. Angry nobles are one thing that can be easily avoided. Demons are another thing entirely.

Please recall that your actions affect everyone -- including yourself. We both know how important this family is to us. Wouldn't want you turning out like that Beauveret boy, would you?

Yours truly,
-Gran Gran

Liliana sat silently in her home soon after the attack, just absorbing the magnitude of all she had seen and heard during the chaos. Just thinking of the undead rise, the lightning striking the homes, and the ungodly shrieks of the demonic vampire queen set her hands to shaking and made her heart race wildly. A dead child, taken by the Banshee? The Banshee herself, possibly seen in the Beauveret mansion?

She had not trusted that family before, due to the war and her locale of work... But she knew now that she would certainly trust no individual that belonged to the Beauveret family. Vampires, Orcs, and Beauverets... She chalked that up in her list of things to be wary of and at last laid down, weary but knowing that a sleepless night awaited her.

ą¹–Ū£ŪœA small note slides out from under the iron door, and seems to have intent to be read...
Read it?
  • Yes.
ą¹–Ū£ŪœHa, them blaming the Beauverets... Such logic they have is difficult, considering they barely even bothered to listen to my OWN tale... I am a 14 year old child, and they still beat me and accused me of Witchcraft! All I did was laugh at Celine's poor attempts to saving her records, but she only lost the records, not her whole house...
After all, I'm stuck in this bloody cell now, no contact with anyone or anything... Hmph... It has to be with that voice that everyone has been hearing...

  • No.
ą¹–Ū£ŪœYou simply step on the note and keep going. Jerk.

The Beauverets are innocent. Since when has the Dark Banshee acted for the will of another? Since when have any of the Beauveret family been skilled in the arts of magic, and black magic no less? There are... few (if not but one) within the entire faction with such knowledge of the dark arcane disciplines and Daemons. And I assure you he intends to leave Regalia as soon as possible.

Removing the mail from his mail box, Rowan flicked through the letters until one in particular caught his attention, he moves to take a seat in his chair by the fire as he slide his thumb into the opening at the top breaking the seal and removing the letter inside.

His eyes eagerly scan the letter as he furrows a brow at the accusations being made, looking at the seal again he places it on the shiney oak desk next to him.

"The Beauveret's, Responsible for a demon attack? I don't think so" he thinks aloud to himself " The Anahera's? Perhaps, i do not know much of the family, yet i highly doubt it, but if this all goes to shit, i must side with the Beauveret's. although we might lose this battle.." shakes his head at the whole situation "If the Regalian guard, and other protectors of Regalia would do their job properly, none of this would be of occurrence, I must go and visit the Beauveret's see how they're doing, afterall people are putting the blame on their dead family member, i can't imagine how that must feel.

Rowan stands from his chair, and picks up his coat, slide each of the buttons though the fabric before, tucking a rose into his front pocket, picking up 2 other letters detailing specifics and orders to do with the wedding and enters the cold night air of Regalia.

If you wish to buy some demon repellant go to see Alamut they have lots of it, it will help keep the demons away from your family and keep them safe.

Tyfran was walking the streets of Regalia, when he heard the crowd in the nobles district. He decided to investigate, not knowing any of the political nonsense that was surrounding the event. once he got there he started hearing the snippets of information, he heard about Rosalyn Beauveret and her body being taken and the plans for the Anahera's. his mind quickly went into overdrive, he took out a notebook he always carries with him and started writing down details. he wrote down the two families involved, the names of people he knew that were there, although he didn't know many of them he wrote down there main features so he could ask about them later. after he was done, he waited around the area seeing if anything else was going to happen. he stayed there until the guards came along and started forcing the people away from the district, he decided he had gathered enough information for him to start investigating the event. the streets were filled with people, some were just milling around while overs were rushing to there homes. Tyfran swiftly walked to his room in the tavern, he closed the door hoping to discourage people from disturbing him. he lighted his candle and opened his note book, he started spreading the pieces of paper over his bed allowing him to see all the information. his first task was to think of theories then investigate them to see if they were plausible. the first few he thought of were rather the beauveret were in fact worshiping demons, this made sense to him. One of there family members were taken by demons and they were largely looked down one, this made he believe that they would be associated with demons trying to get revenge on the other families or just always worshipped demons. the over obvious theory would be that the Anahera family would be behind it, he didn't believe this but he knew he had to look at every possibility. the demon did say it wanted a member of the family, but why would it show that it had allies. Posidem was a caster as well, even though Tyfran didn't believe it there was a chance Posidem could of been possessed. those were the two most obvious theories Tyfran could think of, but he knew there could be a third party evolved or even the demon was working by its self. as Tyfran was thinking this he heard shouting downstairs "how could the Kades let those Beauveret scum into there homes, with political immunity as well" a man yelled. this got Tyfran thinking, could the Kades be the third party he was thinking about. more theories whizzed though his mind, could the Kades be behind it all? could they be using the beauveret as a scapegoat? and giving them immunity so they can let the city riot. Or could they be protecting them because they believe that they aren't associated with demons. he didn't have enough information to make an assumption, but he believed the beauverets were in league with demons.

"Not the Fong house!" He roars after reading the notice. "Those Beauverets... They'll pay for their worship for that witch!"
"Everything that they have done has caused chaos between the noble families." He shakes his head in shame, and looks up, clenching his fist with rage. "Maybe...It's time for their down fall after all."

Elaine's thoughts~ "My... My daughter! A demon took my darling daughter?! This... This is terrible... I... Oh dear..." {{OOC- I had no idea where the body was XD}}

By the Nagrecian Gods, will someone excerise that women already, it use to do funny but now it isn't!

A note is pinned to a lamppost firmly. It reads;

To whom it may concern,
Do not terrorise the poor Beauverets due to an unfortunate streak in their lives. Not a week ago were we all mourning dear Rosalyn, and now accusations of heresy fill the air. These people have been through a horrible time. The least you could do is halt all accusations, and understand that they are victims here, just like you or me.

-Silver Albatross

Hmm, maybe Sean was a cultist or something and used Rosalyn's body as a sacrifice. Wait he's dead. But still he was wanted for being a heretic.

It seems to me that this "Banshee" is simply trying to cause inner-conflict. Within a city that was already at odds with itself. I do not mean to seem rude but perhaps it would be best for us all if the Anaheras and the Beauverets were to hold their tempers for each other and show that the city can hold itself strong. ~ Miss A. Grave

Rick stood outside the noble mansions seeing the damage done, he took a deep breath as the cold fall wind blew some leaves off the already near burnt trees. He chuckled to himself looking at the Beuaveret household one last time before walking off.

Every day the price on Beauveret dirt gets higher and higher, it's never been a better time to be a rogue.

Dear Posidem,

I've only recently had any semblance of a tolerance to your magic and this seems as if magic could be the cause of this event. While our union with the Anahera family was made out of friendship, it seems that the actions that have been taken are reflecting poorly on my family. As such I shall be discussing ceasing our inferiority to your house in the days to come. It saddens me that the Anahera have scorned my dear family name, in a rise to power do not forget who you climb over to reach it.

With great sadness I make this letter,
Lysander la Rue

Shaking her head, Maddy begins to curse the nobles soft, spongy brains. "Obviously the nobles ate too much cake, which made their heads the same substance. Why on earth would a dead young child support Mrs. Baver? In fact, why would any Noble support that evil, dead wench?" Sighing deeply, she turns away wondering whether or not she should have chicken for dinner.

Having just returned from a short journey to New Ceardia, Posidem was not at all surprised to find his mail box full of letters. He was a celebrity after all. Snapping his fingers, the mail flew to his kitchen table and organized itself, the oldest letter on top. About ten minutes later, Posidem had a cup of tea and toast with him, ready to read his mail. Drinking his tea, he opened the first letter... and immediately spit the tea out. The Banshee had shown herself once more, claiming the Beauveret girl and himself for her evil plans.

Shaking, Posidem began reading the rest of the mail. Threats, curses, and various letters with knives in them were all tossed in the flames of the fireplace. One piece of mail, however, caught his eye. He read it, and with a snort, thought to himself, "Ah, my friends, the La Rues... How silly they can be. Perhaps they should reread their oath, for they will see that only I can release them from their pledge." The remainder of the mail was left on the table for a later read.

A note has been posted on the wall near the tavern entrance, as well as on the wall near the entrance to the noble district. It is written in fine letters, and bearing the seal of the Regalian Patrol Guard. It reads...

Attention commoners and those of nobility.
Due to recent events involving riots, sightings of the Dark Banshee, and threats among noble houses, the Honorable Regalian Patrol Guard shall be increasing the amount of patrols and security in all districts.
Threats, violence, the formation of militia or mobs, arson, vandalism and riots shall all be met with the proper justice of law as justified by the great Emperor Justinian II.
This announcement applies to ALL citizens of the Empire. If a man or woman of nobility were to defy these laws, swift justice would be brought upon them as it would a commoner, Excluding those of Senatorial status.
Do not think you can outsmart the Empire and its just laws.
((More guards would be nice too.))

"The humans must flirt with death, musn't they?" Thinks Sorde as he walks to the manor "They must converse with demons, and let them become of them, murdering a child?! The banshee wishes for the mage, she plots demise for all Aloria. It must not be enough for them to poison our groves and corrupt our people with their wicked disease of vampirism. How cruel they must be to accept that it is righteous to kill a child, to kill a grove, to corrupt themselves and others. The mage must be protected, as much as I dislike show-offs such as him, for he is too powerful for her to take into her ranks of the damned." He unlocks the door and steps inside, ready to vent his anger into music. "Foolds they are, just plain old fo-" A hand clamps hsi throat as he gives a muffled scream for Lysander, and he turns to see his brother, dark eyes aglint "It seems the Dark Lady shall rise now Sorde, I can't wait for you, the nobles, and that pitiful grove of Xenra to die.." Dacrius places his blade on Sorde's hand, and slits it. Sorde screams quite loudly for Lysander, but by the time Lysander comes, Dacrius is gone, leaving only a few purple leaves and a dark red flower in his wake.

Impossible! Simply impossible! I as a servant to the Beauverets have not seen nor heard any Demonic nor Demonic supportive activities in the house! There is no way that these accusations are true.
