It is with great pleasure that we announce that Minister Malcolm Lowe has awoken from his coma and will be returning to his position as Minister of Information. We are grateful for the support and well wishes that have been sent his way, and we are pleased to report that he is recovering well. Minister Malcolm Lowe will resume his duties where he left off and is eager to be getting back into things, that being said, he has two announcements to make.

On the Creation of the Identification Section of the Ministry of Information

I, Minister Malcolm M. Lowe, by the authority vested in me as Minister of the MOI, hereby declare the creation of the Identification Section, a division of the Ministry of Information that shall serve as a uniformed investigative branch within the public sector. The Identification Section shall be led by Chief Lutwig Schulzmann, a Doctor of Forensic Sciences with a long history of investigative duties.

The Identification Section shall be responsible for the investigation of smaller crimes that are important to the security of the State. This division shall act as a counterbalance to the Inspector Branch, which focuses on major crimes against the State.

The Identification Section shall be composed of highly trained and competent professionals who shall work diligently to ensure the safety and security of the State. The division shall have the authority to gather information, evidence, and testimony as necessary to solve crimes and bring perpetrators to justice.

The Identification Section shall report directly to the Minister of Information and shall work closely with other branches of the Ministry of Information as well as with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the efficient and effective execution of its duties. Any individual interested in joining this new division shall contact the Minister, or alternately Chief Lutwig Schulzmann (@Iyyiushi).

This decree shall take effect immediately.

Signed,

Minister Malcolm M. Lowe

————————————————————————————————————————————————

I hereby enact PROJECT: CAST into operation in accordance with the power granted to the Ministry of Information.

Effective immediately, the City has implemented a new technology that utilizes broadwave signals to pick up certain flagged words that are spoken in public places. This technology is intended to enhance public safety and security by alerting authorities to potential threats or other suspicious activity.

Here is how the technology works:

  • A network of sensors is installed throughout the City, which is capable of detecting broadwave signals in the air.
  • These sensors are programmed to flag certain words or phrases that may be indicative of a potential threat or other suspicious activity.
  • When a flagged word or phrase is detected, the sensor sends an alert to the appropriate authorities, who can then investigate and take appropriate action.
  • The flagged words or phrases are determined by the Ministry of Information in conjunction with law enforcement and other relevant agencies and are regularly reviewed and updated as needed.
We recognize that this technology may raise concerns about privacy, and we assure the public that every effort has been made to minimize any potential impact on individual privacy. The sensors are only able to detect broadwave signals and do not have the capability to record or transmit any personal conversations or other private information.

We believe that this technology will be a valuable tool in helping to keep the City safe, and we encourage all residents to cooperate with its implementation.

Signed,

Minister Malcolm M. Lowe
