A minor change to the Proficiency system which will only affect those who previously had the Metallurgy Proficiency. The changes are as followed:
What should players do:
- Metallurgy Arts has been split in two, now being Metallurgy Arts and Finecraft Arts.
- Finecraft Arts is silver/gold work and gemsetting/cutting as well as finery smithing.
- Metallurgy Arts remains "rough" with its smithing/forging/bellowing, the more coal related craft.
- Metallurgy points are now added to the Physical Stat, meaning they contribute to the Body Shape.
- This rate is currently a 1:1, meaning the calculation for Body State went from:
- old: Total Combat Points + (Total Athletic Points x 2) = Physical Stat
- new: Total Combat Points + (Total Athletic Points x 2) + Total Metallurgy Points = Physical Stat
- Forging is a physically intensive activity. Hammering a hot piece of metal for hours on end is physically draining and builds the Body. It makes sense for this to calculate into Body Stat, not as much as Athletic Training, but certainly the same as Combat Points.
- Finecrafts such as Gold smithing and Silver smithing are very fine crafts that require small and delicate movements and gestures as opposed to big hammer striking. The two crafts are very different. As such, Finecrafts Arts does NOT put points into Body Stat.
- Additionally, we needed to segment Clockwork Engineering into a specific Proficiency. Clockwork crafts are disappearing from the Magic because the forms of Magic are on their way out with the Permission rework. This would mean that Clockwork Engineering disappears completely from lore, and that would be a shitty situation since it's a major theme for all Qadir.
- As such, for the future of Clockwork Engineering, it is added to Finecraft Arts, where the amount of points invested there-in allows for the creation of Clockwork engines and other automata. The exact specifications on what can be built with Clockwork and the Finecraft Arts will be specified on the Clockwork Engineering page at a later date, but at least we're prepping to ensure Clockwork doesn't die on the way out of Permissions.

- Bakrran and Rakrran can now have manes or hair on the top of their head. The section that disallowed them from facial hair or human-like hair on the top of their head has been removed.
- We added a new social game to the Wiki: https://wiki.massivecraft.com/Volay_Circuit
- Fixed up a discrepancy between Proficiency and /Vampire page.
What should players do:
- Only if you have a character with any points in Metallurgy:
- If you are switching Proficiency Points from Metallurgy into Finecraft, merely change the proficiencies and @tag your reviewer (or another) to re-flag your app as approved. No re-review required.
- If you are only switching some Proficiency points, make sure to calculate the new Physical Stat. For changes between Metallurgy to Finecraft Arts and Bodystate, you don't need a re-review, just tag a reviewer to re-flag your app as approved.
- If you are changing your proficiency points from the ground up to accommodate this change, then you will need a re-review.
