Spoiler: TEXT VERSION Ministerial Activity Report ______________________________________________ Occult Minister, Miss Elana of Brackenfell Overview: The following is an official decree of Ministerial inactivity regarding Miss Elana of Brackenfell, current serving Occult Minister to the Regalian Government. Following what can only be described as a persistent and unchanging run of incompetence in regards to the inactivity she serves her post, the Minister of the Whip hereby calls for Miss Elana of Brackenfell to step down from her position immediately and recommends Her High Eminence to begin applications for a replacement. Argumentation: Upon receiving her posting as Occult Minister on the 26th of April, 309AC- Miss Elana of Brackenfell has only made herself active in her attendance to Ministerial Meetings. Despite repeated correspondence from myself and other Ministers during the Ministerial Meeting on the 11th, no further activity has been noted- nor expected activity in the immediate future. First concerns were raised in the Whip Decree on the 1st of May in which the Minister’s lack of public meetings, lack of official publications (for reference of occult publications, see the Arcane Ministry’s publications by Lady Vivana Avalleia) and a lack of any public responses to ongoing occult related instances. Despite claims that she wishes to “write out documentation for new roles and structures” and “make beneficial changes to court mage and occult law”- the matter simply is that none of this has been attempted, nor has it even been publicly-known policy. Additional concerns were raised directly to the Minister in question by means of an official concern of inactivity by the Whip Ministry on the 9th of May- in which she was called upon to present a concrete plan of her policy at the upcoming ministerial meeting, then to release an official Occult decree by the 16th of May. This letter received no response, however at the Ministerial meeting on the 11th of May, Miss Elana of Brackenfell reassured her High Eminence when questioned that an official publication would be released in the next couple days. Final concerns were raised by members of the public, following multiple correspondence- both in person and by means of letter that they feel the Minister has been inactive in her duties with specific criticism on her lack of meetings and a lack of any officially observed Ministerial activity of decree publication. Conclusion: The Whip Ministry believes that there are others better suited to be more active in this role. While the Occult Minister is commended for her consistent attendance of Ministerial Meetings, the fact of the matter is that despite multiple correspondence by the Whip Ministry to encourage activity and the as of current unfulfilled self-mandiate the Occult Minister has set herself- nothing has been done. Thus, I believe it is in the State’s interest that Miss Elana of Brackenfell step down from her post- or be removed by Her High Eminence for Ministerial Inactivity as detailed above. The Whip Ministry no longer feels confident that the current serving Occult Minister will carry out her duties with the activity the high-ranking post demands and believes another should be permitted to take the reins.
