Ministry Of Development - Decree Two

I. Preamble

Now that I have finally settled into my new position as Minister of Development, I see there were many issues with how the past ministry was running, and wish to show some of the new positions being implemented or altered.

II. On The Matter of Representatives (Reprise)

I feel having Representatives from every district will cloud the fluidity of this branch of the government. Representatives will still hold the same power however there will only be limited spots.​

Representative Rework

There will now be four Representatives. This position will still have the same job as the past decree, however, there will be a new position implemented to help with highly populated areas.​

TLDR: Having a representative for every single district would result in about 26 Representatives which is a lot! So I have simplified it but also allowed for higher density communities an opportunity to still be involved with the introduction of District Assistants.

III. New Position: District Assistants

Representatives will have the taste of overlooking all of the districts that are listed above, however, in order to help, there will be District Assistants implemented in larger communities.​

What will the District Assistant do?

- Will oversee a larger district in order to help relieve the pressure the Representatives face when attempting to communicate with the multitude of communities.
- Send in proposals from people within their district to the Representative.
- If a proposal is to pass from the District Assistants overseen community, the District Assistant will be in charge of working with the Representative and Minister to gather funds in the most effective way.​

Note: I am willing to open a fourth & fifth DA position for the Songaskian & Qadir district. However, I would need an individual to speak to me to show their interest and want to help.

New Town District Assistants:
Allar DA is currently held by Marquis Harta Bahtera
Elven DA [Open]
Ithanian DA [Open]

Imperial Isle District Assistants:
Imperial DA [Open]
Eronidas DA [Open]
Dwarf DA [Open]

TLDR: I want larger groups to have 'community heads' that they can join with making proposals during open forums and work as a group and support growth RP. I hope this will help more people propose things! You will never know the response to something less you try so I encourage planning RP and even setting up group meetings with me to discuss anything you are all passionate about!

IV. Current Developments

This section will be continuous on all future decrees. There will be an updated list of what developments are underway, being discussed, and also recently approved.​

Temple of Vakgar and Makosh - Approved & Funded

The temple requested by the Eronidas community is currently approved, funded, and will be built in the upcoming months.

Crookback Garden - Approved & Funded

A community garden for the population within Crookback has been planned to be constructed on the outskirts of Crookback.
​

Repairing Crookback Emporium - Currently Discussed & Open to Funding (Estimated Price | 30 Wealth Tokens)

The community is becoming worried over the structural sound of the Emporium within Crookback. Since this is a hotspot for local businesses and a community it is detrimental to the everyday life within the district.​

Wall Expansion in Crookback - Currently Discussed

An attempt of expanding one of the back walls of Crookback is being discussed currently by the Mister and Representative of Crookback. This would allow for more open space to help with the dense population and also allow for more room for upcoming developments.​

New Unionist Temple within Crookback - Currently Discussed & Promised Sponsor

Faith is important and should be offered to any individuals within the walls of Crookback to those who cannot leave legally. Discussion of it's construction is being put on hold until other projects are either approved or denied.​

Fitness Zone near Arenacourt - Open to Discussion

A specific individual wishes to see a public gym or outdoor fitness area be available to all without pesky memberships which takes a good bit of coin to uphold. This area would have public equipment for mercenaries, guards, or even just members of the Empire to train before taking a chance in the actual Arena.​

Plans for Old Town - Open to Discussion

As Minister, I wish to seek any individuals who reside in Old Town to come during my office hours or send in a letter on comments, concerns, or suggestions for any of the districts. ​

V. Open Meetings

The Ministry is planning to host monthly open forums which will allow people to come and discuss or show support for currently discussed topics or even propose new ones infront of Representatives and the Minister. Please look out for the dates as there will be one scheduled for the upcoming month of June.​

VI. Closing Remarks

I hope all of these new developments excite individuals and make you more encouraged to take part in the ministry. A special thanks to all that have already shown support, donators, and active community members. Without you all, the ministry would not be as effective and for that, I offer my gratitude. Esteemed Duchess Nordhjem, Minister of Development;

"Fair greetings to you and your staff. I hope this letter finds you well. I would firstly like to express gratitude to you on taking this initiative to ensure the districts of our Crown Isle are represented properly. However, I cannot help but notice that my people seem to be lacking in representation in comparison to others. I am a vociferous defender, author, and political commentator on the status my kin, the people of Daendroc, and so I would be betraying my own persona if I were to not reach out to you on this regard. The people of Daendroc, and those of Daenshore in specific, have always been underrepresented and cast aside by the Crown Isle. It is my honest opinion that the Daenkind of Regalia deserve a fair chance at honest and equal representation. I would like to humbly ask of you if a District Assistant position can be designated for the Daenlock district, so that my people have a voice beyond just that of a single Representative who must already deal with 5 or so other districts that are completely disconnected from one another in terms of culture and geography on the Alorian map. With your permission willing, I offer myself as volunteer to serve as the Daenlock District Assistant, and would be more than happy to discuss my personal qualifications with you in person if you'd so desire."
