〉〉 Amontaari Native || Merhennen was born and raised in Amontaar, having never gone far from the city. A common, and young Teledden, easily overlooked amongst the rest of the city's populace. Though certain to stand out anywhere else should he ever open his mouth, as each word carries the local accent. Other Amontaar natives might have a passing familiarity with Merhennen.
〉〉 Estallorn Upbringing || Like most Teledden, his childhood was hands off, with little interference. As such, he did not have close ties to the older generations of his family. Especially during his schooling and adolescence.
〉〉 Absentee Relatives || The troubles in Amontaar brought upon by Augustin Roca and his company encouraged much of Merhennen family to leave the city entirely. More and more having fled as a change to the status quo seemed of growing likelihood. Upon the influx of Regalians into Amontaar around June/July of 312 AC, the rest of Merhennen's family, save himself, left the city. This caused a shift in Merhennen perspective, as, for the first time ever, the expectations and distant watching eye of his family was absent. A novelty he was not quick to abandon, eager to see what the future held in store.
〉〉 Academic Mage || Others who attended Sollandë Helëssa between the years 300 AC to 310 AC are permitted to have known Merhennen, but not very closely. He was a distant child amidst his studies, aloof and uninterested in close ties, and only present out of obligation. Given battle magic is not the academy's focus, he is almost entirely self-taught or privately tutored on that subject.
