Meelo is a Tohn Maraya thoroughly certain the reason for the collapse of the Meraic-era was her kin becoming the Tohn Sonas antithesis. As such, the Maraya lives her life as closely as she reasonably can to her race's scripture on how one should live. Although she ironically may be guilty of committing grave offenses to the Tohn Sona, as Meelo finds herself curious about other religions lessons, believing atheistic zealotry to be barring oneself from free, and open information.
Meelo is an insanely inquisitive soul, ready to delve into any historical talks about the past for the Maraya has most likely been alive during these events, although sadly locked away in cryostasis for its entirety. Meelo is under the belief many problems of the modern era can be solved with a look to the past. As such, she is rather happy acting as a portal to a time period where things were far, far more advanced technologically, yet rather simple and effective in its domineering ideology, and worldview.
Meelo was mostly a shut in child as a result of her blindness. However, that doesn't mean she never had friends. The Maraya had a near limitless amount of sentient robotic assistants at her beck and call. As such, the Maraya at many times finds greater warmth, and familiarity with the more robotically inclined than those who aren't. Cyborgs, Bronn, and other automatons, although on a supposed lesser level of technological advancement she was familiar with, finds these lost husks as one to care for, and nurture, as they have done to her during her childhood.
The Maraya is rather quick to praise her Kul-Merai ancestors despite their flaws, and evils for even though she believes they've turned their back on the Tohn Sona, she believes them to be the most fantastic anti-mages in existence who ultimately would have changed the entire course of history for good were they not blind to the their leader's hypocrisy, and had the stones to commit a palace coup when one was sorely needed.
