Checking Accounts:
First Off: I realize that not a lot of people are likely to use this (unless they feel like keeping their silver elsewhere to make it look like they're poor) but I figured it was worth trying out anyway.
A brilliant architect who runs a company wanted to have a savings account and a personal account with Mechbank. They wanted their personal silver to be independent of the companies silver. Now, this is a very specific need here which has since been altered slightly into a Checkings Account System.
Here is the idea: For a low monthly fee you can put your silver into a secure(RP) and independent storage facility (Mechbank). You can then make purchases using "Checks" (books with 'pay so and so this amount' signed by the account holder). These checks would be given to the person you owe silver to and would be deposited within 1 week of being used (the books would need to be dated). Here are some benefits:
Name(Account Number) - Amount in Account - Date Account Was Made
EX: Mecharic(1) - 500 silver - 5/28/2013
Format for a Check:
Name and Account Number of the person who is paying - Person to whom money is owed/Name and Account number of person who is owed - Amount Owed - Date the check was made
EX: Mecharic(1) - Imboring(2) - 250 silver - 2/28/2013
Mechbank Branches Across Aloria:
This is pretty simple and straightforward, but needs admin approval I think. If Mechbank does go forward with Checking Accounts it will need several things: 1) a large bank house, 2) branches in each world for convenience, and 3) more employees.
Currently, Mechbank is located in Regalia. The house is a 30s a month small house filled to the brim with signs explaining the workings of Mechbank, chests for my personal storage, and the middle floor that actually has a bit of RP-accuracy (a safe room on the far side from the stairs and an infodesk no one ever bothers to stay at) but is about as full as can be. Now, I have two different options in the way of expanding Mechbank into an Aloria-wide entity. The first option needs admin approval and directly effects the second option. Even bothering to expand depends on what people think about in regards to Checking Accounts.
The first option is simply this: Admins give me places in each of the world spawns to build a Mechbank Infocenter and Check Deposite Box. This would probably enhance roleplay and city appearance (what decent city doesn't have a bank?) as well as increase the traffic in these cities. The types of bank building are listed below:
The second option is to simply locate and rent a larger structure in Regalia. I have my eye on two places, one that's way out of the way and costs 200 silver a month and the other that's on the main drag and costs 250 a month. I would not even think about something so expensive if not for the fact that I hope to sell the Checking Account idea haha. This idea also places Mechbank's Central Bank in the Consortium City of Consortia (god... I need to discuss names with them haha), and so out of reach to enemies of the Consortium (basically half the server) which won't help business.
So, I want people to voice their opinions, thoughts, ideas, and basically anything else they may or may not want to say. Just don't flame me or go "lolz, these idears are dumb!"

- Safer - If the person scams you, just contact Mechbank saying that the check is invalid (include date, who it was too, and how much it was).
- Hidden Wealth - Have 5k silver and get raided to force tribute? Well, now you can look like a poor sap with no silver while still having 5k silver!
- (RP) Worried about personal theft? Mechbank is a safer place to store your silver where pickpockets and thieves can't reach it!
- If you have a company/guild/faction and want to keep the company/guild/faction accounts separate from your personal accounts you can make two or more checking accounts.
- Faster - Directly transfer money from one Checking Account to another.

- Deanshore - 2 stories over 1 chunk, 4 rooms (2 per floor). Flat topped simple structure with jungle-style materials. Similar in design to the SilverEdge Embassy that still exists in the city.
- Ithania - 2 stories over 2 chunks, 6 rooms (3 per floor). Brick roof with primarily stone brick structure and some quartz detailing. Similar in design to the large mining house outside the city. I could also just use an existing unused structure.
- Ellador - Would be a small boat docked there. Would be similar in design to a caravel or perhaps a small frigate.
- Kelmoria - Kelmoria gets a stall with a chest and hopper and a notice saying "Mechbank Check System - For more information go to Havenreach, Regalia, or Deanshore".
- Future Worlds - Would be nice to have a cute little 1 chunk plot in future world spawns. Assuming the first option is even acknowledged by the admins of course haha.
