Me and people I know have been lagging extremely bad, twice it has cause me death from standing still and can't move and then can't click respawn. Is this happening to everyone??

This is a vanilla minecraft issue. Or at least, i've had it in vanilla minecraft as well.

Try spam clicking the respawn button. Sometimes it will flash active super fast like for a milisecond so if you keep clicking it then there's a chance you'll get it at just the right moment.
