I have no idea how many of you watch SAO, but I do, and I was wondering if this ever became possible, would you play Massive as a virtual reality game like SAO, ALO, or GGO?
thisIf I don't die irl when I die ig, and the cost isn't outrageous. I'd play it
I'd play it no matter the cost!If I don't die irl when I die ig, and the cost isn't outrageous. I'd play it
My thoughts exactly.Nothing would keep me from a Massive VRMMO. Or many other things, for that matter...
Occulus Rift is good and all, but it only works with seeing from the avatar's view, but you still need the controls. I mean VR as in NerveGeaar, or, in GGO, the Amusphere.-Coughs and mentions the Oculus Rift mod nonchalantly. If it works on MP at least.-
It'd be like SAO, no pain, except without the die IG die IRL thing.I would, as long as it didn't simulate the pain of getting eaten by a vampire or having an arm cut off.
Oh, I was just playing that... Can't you just have a normal character that looks like that?I can imagine having a character in VR like the guy in the flash game, Rogue Soul.
Actually, pain is simulated a bit if you pay attention to the slight mentions of it, I believe pain's just decreased greatly in feeling, so being stabbed would probably just feel like a slightly painful pressure on the location of the wound. Either way, this'd be pretty amazing if Massive was a VRIt'd be like SAO, no pain, except without the die IG die IRL thing.
Yup. It doooo. Might even work with Oculus V2.-Coughs and mentions the Oculus Rift mod nonchalantly. If it works on MP at least.-
