  • Margaret is in Regalia to return the motherly presence of the Nonnatean Order to the people of the holy city and to convert them to the Spirit's faith while ensuring benevolence among the clergy. She lives in the simple Regalian chapter house of the Nonnatean Order often being found praying in its tiny simple chapel or in the Regalian Cathedral.

  • Margaret was brought up under a strict farming colonial family with a constant Unionist presence in her life. While this may have been less than optimal for some she enjoyed her simple life until it came time for marriage.

Personality and Abilities

  • How would your character express Happiness and Contentedness?
Always happy to share a reassuring smile as evidenced by the smile lines around her eyes she is more than happy to vocalize her gratitude and joy. Though she does feel the need to insistently return a favor no matter how small. Due to the nature of her life, she finds most of her happiness in acts of service and helping others.

  • How would your character respond to experiencing Fear?
Due to her complete lack of combat skill and peaceful lifestyle she has an almost immediate flight instinct running or calling upon the spirit to protect her through holy sign: Benediction. Margaret has quite the martyr complex though and will almost always attempt to help any victim putting their safety before her own.

  • How would your character respond to experiencing Stress?
Margaret finds comfort in her prayers of Concily praying fervently for days at a time she attempts to "pray away" her fears or stress sometimes going so far as praying to the point of fainting. This being her preferred outlet of "stress relief" has only deepened her faith seeing her own happiness and all parts of her life as gifts from the Spirit.

  • How does your character view Law and Authorities?
Margaret holds strictly to the laws of the Spirit and its teachings while this more than not conforms to state law as the Nonnatean Order teaches there is a distinction that must be maintained. Despite this she holds nothing but gratitude for those who serve in organizations such as The Violet Order being more than happy to assist them if it conforms to her faith.

  • How does your character feel about Races other than their own?
Margaret feels pity for those less than human due to the hatred they experience she personally feels that all races (Besides Kathar) should be treated with some level of dignity. She feels they can all contribute to the Great Way in an equal way believing all may enter into the Everwatch eventually. She treats all races as with a mother's compassion no matter if it is a Cro-Allar, Qadir, or Ailor. This entire thing does not include Kathar she feels a true sadness for them being cast out of the Spirit's plan but she feels they are beyond redemption and turns a blind eye to their fate.

  • How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths?
She feels Unionism is the one true faith and does not doubt the Spirit's existence even though she may disagree with the interpretations of her faith she believes in it wholeheartedly living and teaching by her own interpretations. She does not agree with the allowance of religions such as the Old Fayth and The Xenophane hoping to redeem those who have lost their way bringing them to the true faith. She dislikes the ideas of those "Rites" offered to other religions, seeing them as an imperfect impure attempt at bringing together the true faith with another completely false one. She detests the harsher religious punishments favoring a reform of heretics and other transgressors.

  • How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world?
She views the Void, Exist, and Arkens as things that prevent the Spirit's plans for a person hoping to dispel and remove them when possible though the creatures such as Silven and Phantasma do present an issue for this mindset. She detests killing and would never support killing an incurable aberrant (excluding incurable sanguine who she feels must be killed to allow for reincarnation and a purging of the Void taint) rather she relies on the hope of reform through prayer and service to such a degree that their soul is proven human.

  • How does your character feel towards their family?
Margaret loved her family while they lived feeling they were gifts from The Spirit. Upon their deaths, she greatly mourned them though she found comfort in her studies and prayer using them to move past it.

  • What is your character the most proud of about themselves?
Her service to others and her faith.

  • What motivates your character to move forward and better their life?
The hope to reform all she can and bring her children to the Spirit's embrace.

  • What is your character's biggest insecurity?
Her less than perfect ability to serve the Spirit she views even the smallest failure on her part as an affront to the Spirit and some form of ingratitude for all she has

  • What is your character's biggest fear?
Most of all she fears her death though she hopes she has done all she can she always worries if it will be enough.

  • Old age, Margaret suffers from minor arthritis and other ailments related to her advanced age. This makes strenuous physical activities difficult if not impossible things such as prolonged running or lifting heavy objects are not possible. This makes combat impossible with her only real option in combat situations being to flee.

  • Courteousy, Margaret is often afraid to express herself out of fear of insulting others and causing them unhappiness. While this usually prevents any serious expression of unhappiness or disdain she does have her limits.

  • Pure Unionist Values, while she is somewhat accepting of other faiths and does not support their forceful prosecution, in the end, she wishes for all non-Unionists to convert to Unionism. She does not believe in the acceptance of the Old Gods or the Imperial Dragon and while she is kind to those of other faiths she wishes for them to convert to Unionism.
  • Calls almost all people "child" including nelfin who are twice her age or nobles who would often be referred to with a title. This quirk is generally harmless and most people look past it due to her good and kind nature. If she is politely corrected she will make an effort to avoid offending those she is conversing with though.

  • A knack for animals and nature, animals often take a liking to her and she them. She has acquired a vast knowledge of animals indigenous to Aloria and is often found caring for a stray cat or injured bird.

Life Story

243 A.C.-Margaret is born as an only child under the name Edith Brunswick to a colonial mother and father in the New Ceardian Colonies of Essalonia

243-262 A.C.-Margaret is raised in a strictly Sancella Unionist household she is taught how to cook and clean by her mother and is expected to become a good wife and bear children. Despite her father's hesitance, she is able to eventually convince him to teach her the basics of farming. Despite their plans, her family's attempts to push her into finding a suitor are quickly brushed aside by her less than enthusiastic attitude towards becoming a wife. While her family was frustrated by this she continued to care for them despite their pushy and slightly abrasive attempts to interfere with her life. This came to a head not long after her 18th birthday when her family demanded she either marry or join the church attempting to finally pressure her into marrying, after seeing the work of the silent sisters they expected her to detest the idea of performing such tedious labor. Despite their expectations, she chose to join the church eventually selecting to join the Nonnataen Order. She had always found her faith soothing and while it was more of a passing interest of hers she preferred it over the alternative of marrying and working on a farm for the rest of her days. While waiting a year to supposedly "say her goodbyes" though she suspected this was an attempt to make her reconsider her decision she studied under a local reverend learning the very basics of sanktism which would later be expanded upon during her time in the White Chapel.

262-303 A.C.-Margaret travels to The White Chapel in Regalia a long journey but one she found to be exciting. Upon arriving at The White Chapel Margaret takes her Vows of the Covenant renouncing her past name and identity of "Edith Brunswick" instead taking on the name "Margaret Henriche" choosing to take the name of the 6th emperor of Regalia due to his focus on piety and reforming what was broken something she aspired to. Her time at The White Chapel instilled her with her love for her faith and intense dedication to it. The many sleepless nights spent praying in concily bringing her closer to the Spirit. On top of her laborious schedule of prayer and study, she also began to study under a highly skilled reverend who taught her both Sanktism and Rettism over the course of 30 years. This level of study took a physical toll on her as the many sleepless nights studying and days spent praying caused her to fall ill periodically though her passion for her studies and faith remained steadfast. She eventually learned to care for herself and others being taught by one of the Revered Mothers who saw the necessity for such a skill due to the many prospects falling ill. Margaret took a liking to helping others this way, seeing it as an extension of her faith.

303-307 A.C.-Margaret is finally allowed to take the rank of Revered Mother having completed her decades of study and prayer. Directly after receiving the rank of Revered Mother he left the White Chapel going to Regalia (the city) where she dedicated herself to aiding and advising those in need of help, whether it be physical or spiritual she brought her altruism to all those in need.

Bumpity bump bump here's the Nonnatean

@HydraLana Remove rettism and added points to Food & Drink and Anima care because of the new ritualism rules

Remains approved.

@HydraLana I added Lightgiver Ritualism because I think with the new will of faith I can now

Nonnes have been rendered unplayable to normal players, so I will have to reject this application for now. You are welcome to make a female priest from Ithania or someplace that's from a new or existing Culture however to fill this mould.
