Skin Colour: Caucasian Clothing: A turquoise, aristocratic Leutz-Vixe outfit. Height: 5' 8" Body Build: Average Weapon of Choice: A Leutz-Epee Personality and Abilities First Paragraph: Upon first meeting Marcello, people would be forgiven for thinking he is a charitable and kind man whose intentions are to help Regalian citizens in various ways - as this is what he attempts to portray himself to the general public. He often gives to charity and is very attentive when speaking to most people. However, he is also very observant and some citizens may be able to see that he is assessing their every word and building up his opinion of them based upon just a single conversation. Marcello is very perceptive, after all. Second Paragraph: Marcello cares very much about other peoples' opinions and will not hesitate to change something about himself to suite the opinions of his peerage. However, he is confident in himself up until the day that he needs to change - and even changes his own opinions in order to be accepted into society. However, there are exceptions to this. If the opinion is of a certain member of the peerage that Marcello dislikes in some way, he will defend himself and not succumb to any attempts to make him change. Third Paragraph: Now, Marcello's family are some of the few that truly ever get to see the vicious, manipulative side to his personality. Not towards them, however, but towards his enemies. The only reason his family have seen this side of him is because they have known him so long - and he can't hide it forever. Fourth Paragraph: Marcello's morality is quite complicated, and is very dependent on the type of situation he is currently in. Though he finds it pleasurable to be recognised for his good deeds (such as giving to charity, etc.) he does use this to his advantage - manipulating people into doing what he desires. Also, any person wanting to stay out of conflict should avoid disagreeing with him or getting on the wrong side of him as he can be very passive-aggressive when he wants to be. Fifth Paragraph: Marcello has a great respect for most citizens of Aloria - whatever class or religion, though due to his education within the School of History he disregards Orcs and Allar because of their lesser intelligence. However, he has the greatest respect for the lower and working classes due to the amount of work they do to keep society afloat. In terms of religion, Marcello is a strict Unionist just as most Regalians. Personality and Abilities - Expansion: Quirks: When he is nervous, confused or contemplating on something Marcello tends to twiddle the end of his moustache - this is a quirk that he has developed over the years, and he is oblivious the the fact that he does it. Marcello tends to lean on a nearby wall or post when he is partaking in awkward conversation trying to act 'cool'. Skills: Marcello is naturally artistic and so excels in sculpting and drawing and has been doing so since he was very young. Life Story Childhood (0-12) 275 AC: Marcello is born to Terrowin Vis-Vegcht and Vivienne Marlone. He was concieved during an affair, meaning he was a bastard child to the Vis-Vegcht family. 276 AC: His mother left him on the doorstep of the Vis-Vegcht family's manor in Brissiaud with a note. It was at this point when he was absorbed into the family - essentially adopted. 276 - 284 AC: Marcello was treated rather unfairly during his childhood, simply due to his father's abusive nature after his wife's death. He was also never particularly accepted by his siblings due to the fact that he was a bastard child. This unfair treatment led to Marcello spending hours upon hours by himself reading and writing from a very young age. However, come the age of ten, his father decided to pay for his education - unexpectedly. 285 AC: At the age of ten, Marcello was sent to a prestigious academy in Brissiauds near the home of his cousins. In order to attend the academy, he was forced to live with his cousins and so he did, studying History at the academy until his graduation. 286 - 287 AC: Marcello grew close quickly to his cousins, and connected greatly with Henry over the course of his time with them. Teenage Years (13-18) 288 AC: It was a mere year after his departure when Marcello learnt of the death of his mother. Although he did not know her - he still felt a connection with her, he still loved her. However, he could not let this effect him too much and so he carried on with his education. Young Adulthood (19-30) 295: Marcello graduated from the academy with ease at the age of 20, and proceeded to pursue his interest in writing poetry and screenplays. 296 - 303 AC: Marcello had written various different poems and screenplays as well as continued to expand his knowledge of history. He also began to learn the basics of horse-riding and Leutz-Vixe fencing in his spare time. 304 AC: Marcello was given a chance that he just could not refuse - a chance to go out into the field on a Regalian Captain's research frigate to find out more about Ancient Nelfin Culture. 305 AC: After a year of unsuccessful research, Marcello returned to his family in Brissiauds - and finally met the new Patriarch of the family, his half brother - Edmond. Present Years 306 AC: Now, after reuniting with his family Marcello has moved to Regalia in hopes of giving his career the boost it needs and becoming a well known philosopher and literary artist.
Looks great! Although Edmund is 45, and ran away from home at the age of ten, so the two wouldn't have met for a while. Sorry for the delay, I'm adding you to the family page, and preforming some minor age adjustments to various members that I forgot to do earlier. Feel free to age up the character if you want, in accordance to these adjustments, it's my fault that I forgot to edit the ages when I updated the family lore.
Leutz only get the tailoring boost if they put 10 points into tailoring. Ancient Elven is something I feel only experts or above in Nelfin History would even have a basic understanding of, and even then, it's a dead language. Please remove it. You mention that he graduates at 18. Change this to 20. Schools take a flat 10 tens to graduate from. Mark your edits in red and tag me when you have made the appropriate changes. @dboy_101
I've removed the tailoring boost and the knowledge of Ancient Elven. I've also moved the dates around a bit so he graduated at the age of 20. At your request, all edits were marked in red. Thanks for the review! @AptlyRatley
Actually, you have your points listed incorrectly. You list Nelfin History as having 5 points placed into it but it is marked down as 10. If you did infact intend to have 15, you make keep rudimentary scholarly knowledge on Ancient Elven. You also did not remove the tailoring boost and have drawing points stated incorrectly. Mark your edits in red and tag me when you have made the appropriate changes. @dboy_101
My apologies, for some reason the post didn't edit properly the first time. Thanks for pointing all of this out - could've been embarrassing :P @AptlyRatley
