Hello There

Nothing too fancy! I'm mainly making a thread to motivate myself to finish more drawings and to keep improving. I'm new to digital art still and very far from where I want to be, but enjoy what few completed pieces I have here!

Also a lot of the drawings are Star Wars OC's or randoms. I haven't quite dared to draw my Massive OC's yet.

The lineless starwars OC is lowkey hot
I have a shameless love of Star Wars babes. The silver haired one, the zabrak, and the Twi'lek are some of my OC's.

Edit to add: probably gona keep on drawing more alien babes in the future, too. They're all the IP of SupremeCripple and if he wants more alien babes, then I'm gona keep on supplying them lmao

I have this really rough sketch of Sivrid (mainly trying to come up with potential tattoos) and I'm going back and forth on keeping the linework, or going full lineless. Probably gona try one to see if it works, and switch to the other if I get tired of it. Either way! Siv WIP :D

I'm super interested in drawing scenes in Regalia right now. Like background art and locales. So here's the interior of a Hidden Dragon lounge.

So I'm still toying with this Hidden Dragon lounge, and considering making it a YCH (Your Character Here) type of thing. Don't know if I'll do auctions for art but if I'm cranking out scenery pieces I might as well add characters, right? So the form there is just a placeholder.

Trying to get back into drawing consistently again with some simple, cartoonish styled stuff. I'm hoping it gets me to focus on line art and anatomy over coloring. Walk before you run, sort of thing. So here's Sivrid and Ami'o being vampires
(I also like to add this caveat: If you're going to talk about the art, I prefer it be about the art itself, and not comments on the characters' appearance, since that tends to kinda creep me out and make me uncomfortable. Thanks!)

Always swore I just wasn't going to draw Leah Kade, since I was never happy with my attempts (and I liked Marty's art of her so much). But after a long art block, I'm finally content with this piece! Cel shaded, and line art only.

Proportions look quite good! Must have taken many hours to finish coloring and shading. Do you draw a construction sketch before you make the lines?

It took ages. My process is that I use a reference and I draw the body first, so I spend a lot of time tweaking and adjusting til the proportions look alright. But my constructions aren't exactly true artist laylines, so to speak. I don't measure head lengths and stuff. I just work til it looks alright. Then I draw a few sketches of possible outfits on the top, and pick what I like best form each outfit, before doing a final outfit sketch. Then I line it, and then line it again with the final outline, and color. Cel shading first, and then soft shading and highlights.
