    Life Story
    • Mórrígan was born to Máedóc and Artio, a Caeren couple living in 'Hillscythe', a small village on the outskirts of Talla nan Larks. He was surrounded by family and Caeren in his youth - and like the rest of his siblings, he would begin 'playing Lecgaen' at a very early age.
    • The family trade primarily was that of knowledge - of tuition in both Lecgaen, and the Disciplines of Airdh-Rossahn. His father often travelled to Larks to teach seminars and new warriors in the Rossahn style - which Mórrígan would also learn simple forms in during his youth. Behind closed doors, a tradition of 'ancient sorcery' was kept alive within the family as well. A teenage Mórrígan would be exposed to the arcane, though to his frustration he would not be allowed to practice or learn these arts until he was older.
    • Entering his early adulthood, Mórrígan had proven himself to be a capable Lecgaen Strygner, and though some considered the path to be 'selling their art to foreigners for cheap coin', Mórrígan reasoned that Lecgaen should be taught to any who wish to learn it, so long as they have a passion for fighting. Ignoring those few naysayers, Mórrígan travelled to Regalia, where he hoped to learn the styles of other cultures and spread his own.
    • In Regalia, Mórrígan set up a small gym and fight club, and eventually made a 'deal with the devil' when approached by a Voidly Entity known as 'The Arken of Violence'. Though for some time he took Violence as his patron, he soon discovered the creature seemed to hold no respect for the 'art' and dignity of combat. After being absolutely thrashed by Violence, Mórrígan revoked the pact out of sheer spite, and now patiently recovers.
      • Though he progressed slowly in terms of skill, Mórrígan held a passion for fighting, especially for Lecgaen. He viewed such violence as beautiful - an intricate art fuelled by technical knowledge, dedication and refined skill. To him, little else was worthy of pursuit, and he devoted the majority of his focus to its study.
      • By the time Mórrígan was eighteen, he had completed the Trial of Lecgaen, and finally began study of the arcane, which he honestly learned far more easily than physical fighting. He seemed to have some innate aptitude for sorcery, and was quick to incorporate it into his skillset as a warrior.
      • For the next few years, Mórrígan trained Airdh style, learning how to use the Highland Targe. After which he set out to Regalia, intent on cross-training in Palattu and teaching Lecgaen.
      • Mórrígan rented a small room in Crookback, and hosted lessons in martial arts by the port. He studied the languages of the most impressive warriors, and even opened a small fight club with the money he had saved up. Finally, he was able to strike a deal with the Council, and bought out the underground pit beneath the Emporium to expand his venue.
        .
      • As more and more blood seeped into the underground, some dark force was uncovered beneath Crookback. After closing hours, a lone Mórrígan was cleaning the pit for the next day. He saw reflections in the blood - those of a demon that wasn't there. It spoke to him; offered him power and knowledge so long as he continued to nurture the violent side of Crookback. Mórrígan accepted.
      • Eventually, Mórrígan thought it acceptable to challenge the Arken of Violence to a duel. Seemingly offended, Violence near obliterated both of Mórrígan's arms without even fighting him, an act which Mórrígan deemed 'not cool'. Scorned by what he viewed to be an unfair dismissal and even more unjust attack, Mórrígan revoked his pact with the Arken through sheer spite, and now waits for his injures to slowly heal.

    • History |
      • Passed down through oral tradition, family myth cites one "Allister the Gallagher", who fought alongside his many Caeren brothers in the early wars against the Dunbrae.

Allister was said to be so respectful and touch with the spirits, that Lasair-Dahn breathed upon his sword in a passing moment, and set the blade ablaze. Whether the many stories of Allister's flaming sword are true - something debated even among the clan members themselves - none question the prowess he was said to have possessed as a warrior.

The Children of Allister - the MacAllisters - pass down Allister's Tome, a journal which would detail the glyphs and techniques necessary to call upon the flame. In the handful of generations since, The MacAllisters have firmly adopted sorcery not as a crutch, but as a supplement to their arsenal as warriors.

Today, the majority of the MacAllisters live in and around Talla nan Larks, with their eldest acting as instructors of the 'Discipline of Rossahn'. There are many within the family who have branched out, to see the world outside the Highlands, and learn of arts beyond their own. Those 'Callisters' which have since travelled to Regalia act primarily as curious visitors, often clashing with the commonly accepted etiquette found within the capital city. They offer their services as warriors, mentors and labourers where required.
