  • Full Name
  • Lyndryl Niurthagie
    • Heritage / Culture: Kathar.
    • Age (Minimum 17): 137
Gender / Pronouns: She/her.
Religion: Beguiled Cult (Void Worship).
Occult: Void Mage.
Character Occupation: Romanceable for hire. Thief, low-grade assassin on the side.

Appearance Information
Eye Color: Golden.
Skin Color: Darkish gray.
Hair: White.
Height: 5'11.
Body Type: CURVY HOURGLASS QUEEN. Body mass is mainly focused on legs and torso, not much definition on her shoulders but light muscle.
Additional Features: Her face includes sharp features with lazy eyes and a tempting gaze. She wears white lipstick and smells like vanilla.
She has long, abnormally white nails that are claw-like.
Her Kathar race allows her to be Ageless (meaning they can look forever young, or manually change their age appearance at will -Massive Wiki).

Skill Information
Hobbies and Talents: Specializes in seduction, and is especially good at singing. It's like the words just drip from her mouth. (read Corruption Desire in Kathar wiki for uhh some consequences idk)
She enjoys watching battles/fights, and can be found among the spectators at many events.
Lynessa also enjoys perfume making (alchemy hobby) on the side- she finds herself loving the journey of mixing all the right ingredients together to find the most elegant scent. If she REALLY likes you, maybe you'll end up with a free, personalized perfume.
Mechanics:
  • Kathar power cannot be denied to them. If anyone uses an Ability/Mechanic that would force them to use Radiant instead of Sinistral Magic, they still use Sinistral anyway.
  • Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as they possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also.
  • Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
  • Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
  • Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.
Languages: Katharic/Pannarokh, Common

Backstory / Plothooks
Lyndryl grew up in a rough house as a child. Being included in six of the ten kids of Kathar being rejected by their parents, she was sent to "Future Houses" (essentially orphanages, a Kathar invention), and being luckily adopted by a "Sweet-Matron" (old female-oriented Kathar adopt a lot of children to raise the next generation). She grew up learning that her face was stronger than her arms or her void magic- realizing that seduction and a pretty gaze were her most powerful weapons. Even though barraged with tough love from her Matron, she was among the favorites somehow. No matter how many times she sneaked off to play with the bird spirits of the sky or race through the trees with the deer spirits, she remained well-cherished. Eventually as Lyndryl grew up, she would learn that her Wardenship (adoption) was a blessing in disguise. They quickly taught her the righter views of the world mostly of her race, but learned how others worked as well. Being observed by her Sweet-Matron, knowing that Lyndryl had some sort of strong "bond" with the spirits, her Matron decided to gift her a baby crow of the spirits for her 10th birthday (I have no idea how spirits age or anything, but this is just for the plot). They have never split since, and sometimes it seems as if they can talk to one another. Lyndryl loved her spirits, and the spirits all around the world. She wished for a world where all races and spirits could rule in unison. How beautiful they were, in her opinion.

Her adulthood was considered among the "wild" Kathar lives. Lyndryl knew that she was destined for greatness at whatever the cost, but her having to lure a man into his death to escape her own was not a part of her future plan. Sure, she had been accidentally caught up in some assassin's work to get by in her fresher years, of course, but who knew she'd actually end up doing their bidding to earn their trust. From throwing the grandest or parties to groveling in the sewers for a job, she had almost been everywhere. But by her 100s Lyndryl had managed to strike a stable income, in an assassin, thief, and romanceable for hire. She now continues to grow in whatever… "Attributes" or "skills" needed to complete her job, resulting in the best pay. Some may say that she's in it for the money or that she hasn't found her true calling yet, but she's fine with that. Lyndryl doubts she will find a true spouse anyway. She had Leviathan and her freedom, and that was all she truly needed.

(Extras)
Character relationships: She has a crow spirit named Leviathan. A smart friend who knows how her tricks work. He wears a matching foot anklet on one of his legs.
Fun facts about Character: She is left handed.
Basically just those twin drows in Sharess' Caress during Act 3 of BG3.
Some fun things about her race that I like to include:
  • Gift giving is important in Kathar culture, but also a dangerous one for those who do not fully understand it. Gifts can be given with the head bowed, in which case it is a normal gift, but a gift given with eye contact becomes a romantic expression. If the receiver accepts the gift, this is seen as a cultural acceptance and desire to form a romantic bond, something other Races are not aware of.
  • Contraception and birth control are commonly consumed by the Kathar, because being with child for several months puts a damper on pleasure and fun. As such, the Kathar have developed a wide range of Alchemical solutions and potions.
  • Kathar love duels in all forms, whether they are based on wit, Magic, or might. Tournaments and honor duels attract a lot of Kathar spectators, and even participants, if permitted.
  • All Kathar possess a so called Rannoriim, which is a metal mask that is perfectly contoured to their face, and often magically attaches like a second skin. This mask can be used in combat, but conveys no actual combat benefits (as it is made of very thin metal), but contains intricate decorations and facial expressions, to present a 'public face', instead of the hidden true face.
  • Kathar love hallucinogenic liquor and drinks, the more exotic the effect the better. Kathar in general are avid consumers of alcoholic beverages. While one would not expect it, some Kathar have difficulty reaching their truly fully unchained mentality without the assistance of alcohol.
Likes and dislikes
Has a secret soft spot for nerdy, good guys that you know will treat you right.
Dislikes middle-man rulers like Nobles and wealthy aristocrats that think too much of themselves. Also, poor hygiene. Yuck.

"In contrast with all these blooming flowers around me, who dares to stray into the black and white?"
