Experiencing it causes him to tense up and back away from the cause. The only exception is when void/exist/binral essence is in use, since his desire to learn and instinct to run fight each other and causes his reaction to be a coin-toss. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? ↬Stress is a factor in every part of Lymi’s knowledge path. Constantly exploring ideas, hitting dead-ends, and dealing with near extinct information sources. At best, he sighs and stops what he’s doing, taking a nap or finding a way to clear his mind. At worst, he ends up tossing the specific topic aside and ignoring it for months. It’s similar to his actions towards people in a way. If they cause him stress he’ll either ask to be excused and leave or simply walk away and ignore the person until his opinion of them changes. How would your character express feeling Happy? ↬Despite his quiet nature, Lymi embraces happiness like a child would a toy. Clapping and smiling brightly, even talking to others without any sign of anxiety at the idea. It’s truly a part of him that’s stayed even with childish traits being gone by time a Yanar’s maturity is reached. How does your character view Law and Authorities? ↬With the limitations both have on knowledge seeking, Lymi respects both and sees them as important parts of societies. He still isn’t a fan of the treatment he gets from both in certain lands though, and can dislike them when either are used just to spite him personally by people. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? ↬Races besides Yanar are looked at with vague curiosity and liking of in terms of Cielothar and Altalar, though he doesn’t show any hatred or dislike towards them except for individuals. Kathar and Haat-Maraya are an exception to this, being looked at with fear and distrust, with Lymi preferring protection before going near their kind. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? ↬Lymi fully believes in the Fated Faith. It’s even a small wish to one day discover what truly happened to the Fated Ones. His opinion of other faiths are a mixed variety. Void Worship with disgust and Unionism and Faith of Estel with acceptance. He finds other religions interesting, and even with him unwilling to convert to Unionism, he has at least learned the core parts to fit in the Ailor cities and not be at risk of harm. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? ↬Rather than focusing on the events and items concerning magic and aberrant things, Lymi’alë finds fascination in the makeup of such things. Whether Void, Exist, or Binral in nature, Lymi wants to study it. He even uses a Phade Gauntlet after learning of such a creation that didn’t require him to have void or exist essence used on him. However he does stay away from Void essence if at all possible. He’ll let the hired helpers go near that stuff first. How does your character feel towards their family? ↬Despite being the introverted and quiet child of the family, Lymi loves them and enjoys having a place to be always welcome. He struggles when it comes to socializing, but he puts all his effort into it for them. What is your character's biggest insecurity? ↬Lymi’s biggest insecurity is his introvert nature. He’s constantly trying to get passed it by bonding with siblings, but it seems to be apart of him for good, even if it’s been reduced to simply leaving him with an inept case of social behavior. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? ↬The Yanar prides himself on his efforts and research of the dimension’s arcane. He doesn’t know it all, and doesn’t believe he can, but he is happy with how much he’s managed to gain in his life so far. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? ↬Lymi knows his life is near endless. With no known end to it due to age, he keeps hold of his ability to learn and discover all he can to keep him going forward. He is content in his current status of life, though he knows having a better one would lead to an easier path. What is your character's biggest fear? ↬His natural fears are near the top of Lymi’s list. Fire and Dulofall will always be fears he has, but another is the idea of failure. He fears failing on his path, for he doesn’t know what he would do should his path of life meet a block that he can’t get passed with what he knows. Spoiler: Relationships N/A ↬Birth (0) ↬Born to Nhaeremae Lloablen in the colony located in Teled Methen. ↬Childhood (0 - 20) ↬Lymi'alë started his childhood learning the major events of history such as wars, occupations, rulers, and important figures with his mother. His primary focus was on the colony where he was born. ↬Introduced to the supernatural things shortly after, taking a sudden liking to the idea. He spent his time reading and listening to stories about mages and mythical beasts, often fantasizing about being able to meet one of these odd findings. ↬Along with his introduction to mages of all sorts, he was taught the way of horticulture and the raising of animals, thus coming into play in his later years. ↬Tutored in Modern Altalar and Plains Elven, now being able to communicate with the different Nelfin around their home. ↬As he grew older, he only seemed to grow more curious about the world around him, constantly warned about wandering off from the colony. ↬Teen Years (20 - 30) ↬Entering his teens, Lymi'alë started to dedicate himself to studying and learning about the Sorcerer occurrences within the world around him. ↬Within his time period, Lymi'alë acquired a Phade Gauntlet, slowly but surely learning and perfecting the work of the Sorcerer spells. ↬While also focusing on his studies, he dedicated time in helping the colony in different ways, caring for plants, training and watching animals, as well as other various chores. ↬Adulthood (30 - 60) ↬Celebration began as Lymi'alë reached his adult years, finding himself within the colony tradition for coming of age. ↬Lymi'alë grafted a Yanil with one of his parents within the colony's Yanassil. Once this was complete, he officially recognized as an adult. ↬His studies continued further upon the magical occurrences, expanding his knowledge. ↬Somewhere around here, he ran into a Silven Yanar, opting to befriend her in order to gather more knowledge on how she came to be. ↬Present (60 - 70) ↬Upon departure from his colony to Regalia in an exploration route, Lymi'alë is able to end up on an aft ship of the Maraya; part of their Home Swarm. ↬During his travel, he slowly adapted to shift his appearance to more of a El-Maraya/Ka-Maraya influence. Along with changing appearance, he eventually came to learn to speak, read, and write in Shalota. ↬He arrived in Regalia after roughly a decade or so with the Maraya, with the hope of meeting fellow family members, along with attaining more knowledge. ↬Here the journey begins, where Lymi'alë can either grow, or merely fall to the temptations of what the Holy City.
