Helloooo. A small thread just for fun. Frank and I really enjoy drawing our own takes on massivecraft's colourful list species, so I thought we should make a thread for it! We enjoy it because we have a very different styles to that of the base of massivecraft's art, and different styles can really bring about an entirely new feel or perspective to that of a character!

First up, I redrew this Vissi from the massivecraft wiki. It's probably no secret that I like insects, and I really liked the shape and exoskeletal dynamic of the original picture. An interesting concept that I wanted to give a go!​

A tablet and photoshop, but it has nothing to do with the artwork i produce. I could do a similar picture in paint SAI or GIMP. It's about learning how to use colour and shape, not what software you use. It's why i always recommend people start out drawing on paper first :>
