As the silence of the night invaded the snakes ears, she'd slowly crack open her eyes and blinked away the sleep as she slowly sat up. She'd quietly move herself out of the bed as her partner continued to sleep away. Senobia would lean forward slightly as she sat on the edge of the bed, carefully moving the arm that had been resting around her to lay on the pillow she had once been laying her head on.

Once she stood up, tugging on a warmer cloak seeing as it was still night out and traveling to the upper door area, stepping out of it quietly and locking the door behind her. Despite the lateness of it all the slizzar couldn't help but feel restless and moved to make her way down the ladder and onto the worn path. She'd step out of the house, only expecting to take a quick walk to get a drink in the emporium and straight back home and due to her tired and muddled mind she had left her alchemy satchel at home.

The cold winds nipped at any exposed skin as she carefully made her way past a couple of groups of slum dwellers however one kept their red eyes on the slizzar. That of an Umredd watching and waiting before moving to follow the snake along once she had turned and gone into the Emporium shop area.

Senobia made her way down the steps and towards the local bar tucked away in the corner with various lavished seats for a small bar in the slums. As she peeled the coat off of her and set it off on a seat she heard a faint noise that caused her to pause as the sound of footsteps reached her ears. Taking note of the emptiness of the bar area and no patrons in sight this caused the snake to whirl around, now face to face with an Umredd. A rather familiar one at that.

"...Do you always have a habit of following people you help? It's creepy if it is."

"I do actually, not a clue why but. That doesn't matter."

With that the two fell into a silent stare off, the snake like eyes of Senobia staring deeply into the crimson red of a vampire. While in turn the Umredd stared her down as well, carefully depicting her as she stood in a lax position, unable to do much due to the day before and the wounds she had acquired. As the male began to move forward towards the snake, aiming to reach out to touch her hair, out of instinct the snake moved to grip his wrist. However that was the mistake, taking the opportunity to take a hold of her wrist with his other hand, aiming to tug her forward so he could latch onto her wrist.

Letting out a pained cry, the slizzar would aim to pull back but unfortunately that was a bad idea in itself, causing Paves to bite down harder on her wrist. Unable to do much against him in her already weakened state, she'd begin to falter as she's tugged closer before the mouth detached from her wrist and instantly to her neck once she had been pulled closer. After drinking enough of her blood, the vampire would let go of the weakened slizzar before moving to scoop her up and carry her off…

It looks like she wouldn't be coming back after all, taken and lost.

In all of his grace, Elias is not in fact a graceful sleeper. His mouth hung slightly open as the stale air of the slums attempted to permeate beyond the scent of the candles. A longstanding rivalry. He rolled over when he woke, expecting to wrap his arm around his companion only to find she wasn't there. He was alone. "Usually this is the other way around..." he muttered quietly. Elias then reached over to the nightstand beside their bed, puffing the last bit of life out of last nights garette, still smoldering in it's tray. He lit another. His thoughts raced over the last couple days as he sat alone in his little shack: vampires, magical gills, and bad booze. He reached over for another garette to find that they too had disappeared, and the wind chimes rustled their melodies outside his window. "Alright, alright. I'm going." he groaned, glancing outside to watch as the window blew through the alley, sabotaging clothes lines and cooling the air. "Another good day.."

He had know idea as to what occurred just hours before.

At least Senobia didn't take her stuff and leave with it so she must be around somewhere. Curious curious things.
