She enjoys her freedom, but finds interest in the topics surrounding them thanks to her heritage. 〘☼ Life Story || You cannot find peace by avoiding life. {0-10} Lorelei was born on November 4, 281A.C within Dexai to her Sihai mother, Viviedo Luxford and her Daendroquin father, Kravat Luxford III. Being the youngest sibling out of six brothers, she roughhoused with them and strayed away from the more girly lifestyle Lorelei’s mother wanted for her. Due to Dexai’s strict preferences, the Luxford’s father was rarely able to stick around, causing him to stray away and focus more on her siblings. Lorelei had been snuck in and raised in Dexai’s walls. Her early years consisted of a lot of travel with her brothers and visiting a ton of extended family, while back at home her mother encouraged lessons on basic manners, how to care for herself and other basic life necessities. Lorelei seemed to become impatient with basic things and always tried to one-up the expectations her peers had set out for her, in which she did. With her mother being an artist, Lorelei looked up to her as an inspiration to start creating her own pieces of art to ‘sell’. Her elder brothers and father tended to try and encourage Lorelei to pick up a form of combat at a young age, testing her luck with her fists first. Though they soon learned she was too brittle for that and instead began with something smaller, daggers. Throughout a few years, her father personally taught her how to wield and properly use the weapons to her advantage, as well as testing her every few weeks to check up on the progress Lorelei had made. {10-20} By the age of 15, Lorelei was already beginning to get involved in her brother’s smuggling business along with her extended family, making do with trades all around under the guidance of whom she idolized in her life. During these times, she endured a plethora of risks, forcing the Luxford to mature early. Despite experiencing more adult fitted situations such as private deal-making, robbing and even utilizing her daggers, her mother supported her for a few more years leading up until the age of 19 where Lorelei was kicked out of her home. Once forced out, the halfbreed quickly caught news of a merchant boat heading for Catalon at dawn, so she packed everything up and departed her home in Dexai. It didn’t help that Kravat had also abandoned his family to move on with his life in Anglia, tension building up to suddenly burst into a life-changing decision. While Lorelei paid to board the boat, she gained connections from a sea of a new type of people including sorcerers and a handful of mages who gave her knowledge on shatterology. As the boat docked on the shores of the newfound crime utopia, she quickly adapted to the place. Assorting herself within the public businesses and even a few of the more private gang like ones. Even though she left, she still kept in touch with her kin, visiting every so often whenever she was free and participating in family events. She spent a full year adjusting to life in Catalon, settling down in a small apartment. {20-27} While asleep in her apartment home, a surplus of rattling could be heard accompanied by two sets of footprints waddling about. Lorelei wasn’t much of a heavy sleeper, so this woke her up, prompting for her to investigate further. Upon sneaking her way about her own home, she set gaze to Calypso Kato and Catalina de Grizio swiping up whatever regal enticed findings they could get their hands on. She immediately pulled her weapons on them and admitted to confrontation, though soon eased up once realizing they had taken con items in thinking they were of any worth. Lorelei teased and gassed them up, allowing them to flee and returning to her bed until the next morning. Lorelei prepared to leave the house and head to her usual hotspot where she then came across the same two who broke into her home the night before, instead of bashing on them for their actions, she slid up to the two and inform them of their false robbery. Despite being all cocky, Lorelei dropped the subject and insisted on starting new, introducing herself to later on begin hanging around with the duo. Lorelei also partnered up with them in their criminal activities, causing chaos within the streets. Coming along to Lorelei’s fresh entry to twenty-four, she had decided to pack up and finally leave Catalon along with her friends Calypso and Catalina and set sail to Regalia for new sights. Once boarding the ship, she soon arrived at the Crown City’s docks. Greeted by her brothers and taken in while she got ahold of her second start.
