I think a new forum should be added for general lore discussion. This would be a place to discuss the lore and to create new lore. I feel that this is something that would help us solidify the lore of the server and allow more people to be involved in the creation of lore. I know there is a wiki for writing lore, but I feel that the things on the wiki can sometimes represent only one persons interpretation of the lore. From what I understand the lore of the server is meant to be player made and I think that such lore should be made with the input of all those who wish to contribute and also the criticism of those people too. Under this forum would also be a sub-forum on lore for each of the various races. This will allow for races to become more integrated into the lore and help find ways to enter them into the roleplay.

We decided a while ago that player made lore was becoming increasingly less feasible. Many players inserted a god self into the lore or simply didn't bother coming up with something everyone was okay with. As such we have 2 admins working on lore, yet unpublished though.

This is exactly why I think a forum like this would be helpful. It would be a place were players could work out more feasible lore with other players. Also this way the players could simply keep people doing such things as inserting themselves as a god in check. I understand that the admins are working on new lore, but the forums would be more for disusing lore not necessarily writing completely new lore. If any lore my thought was that it was to be written and built upon existing lore. This would probably not end up becoming published lore or anything like that more or a place to discus which is what I feel the forums are meant for.

Well this is a bit different then what I was proposing. I was saying that the forum would be a place to discus things like "The Legend of the Vampire" before it was published to add a larger point of view. Or in your case as it was already published then to possibly have a place for people to talk about what holes in the story could be filled in or what could be added to the story.

Hey, it's just the base, you know legends get changed as they're passed down right?

Yes I know what you are saying and I agree completely and your story is quite good. I am just suggesting something where the base for such lore can be openly disused and debated more easily then it can be on the wiki.
