The following announcement was made available city wide by posts on notable Regalian Noticeboards, City Criers and word of mouth from Violet Order guardsmen.
Patriots, loyalists, Denizens, family and friends
With the power vested in me as Lord Commander of the Violet Order City Guard, I hereby announce a State of Emergency within the Regalian Capital City. Shortly before dusk on the 11th of November, an unprecedented astrological catastrophe struck our Holy Capital releasing a force unprecedented in the history of our great and holy Empire. In the aftermath of what appears to have been a comet hitting Old Town, an unaccounted for number of beings, not visible to the eye, attacked Guardsmen, nobility and citizenry indiscriminately.
I can confirm that the Regalian Government are placing all available time and resources into deciphering the nature of this threat but until such a time as to when we know what we are combating, the City will be going into lockdown with the Violet Order empowered to act as is necessary to assure the safety of the Regalian Citizenry at large.
In regard to Greygate, the Lord Chancellor misinformed you of my intentions. The general populous will be permitted inside of the Greygate district and beds, living quarters, food and warm clothing will be made readily available to those who wish to find salvation away from the threat until such a time that it is dispatched with. Nobility will be granted the added protection of remaining inside the prison itself within the Greygate office quarters. I remind you all that Greygate Isle is the most protected, defensive position within the entire of the Regalian Capital. All are welcome provided they have a relatively clean criminal background, or satisfy an appeal procedure to one or multiple Violet Councilmen.
1. Do not attempt to engage these creatures if they attack. They are far more powerful than people seem to realise and the added threat of being unable to see them will only hasten your own demise.
2. Do not travel alone. The Violet Order recommends that individuals travel in parties of at least four when moving about the city quarters.
3. Fortify your homes and /do not open your doors for anyone you cannot physically see/. These creatures are known to throw their voices and mimic loved ones and friends. Listen and be wary. Tell tale sign of these creatures lurking nearby is an unmistakable clicking noise.
4. Co-operate with authorized Regalian Law enforcement. Self explanatory. Law will be enforced as per usual. State Government matters will continue as normal. Alert your local Violet Guardsman to any threat you are made aware of.
5. Be safe and wary. As mentioned, these creatures have never been experienced before and thus, the extent of their abilities are unknown.
6. If you wish to assist in the fight against these beings, join the Violet Order. We need every able body we can get.

Depending on the severity of the situation, Greygate bridge will collapse in order to prevent these creatures from reaching the district's walls. Boats will be used to transfer Guards/Citizens to and from the main Imperial District thereafter.
As previously mentioned, the crash site of the comet will be cordoned off in compliance with the edict of the Lord Chancellor. The Violet Order will maintain this sanction is enforced and those found trespassing in the area will be subject to the strictest interpretation of the law.
