[!] A newspaper from not-too-far-away makes its way around Regalia. Nothing remarkable, except for the main headline, which explains how it made its way here. [!]

LONG-LOST PAINTING IS FOUND
January 3, 315 AC
Many art connoisseurs recognize "The Cloudless Sky." That name tells the story of a beautiful painting fought over by two families until one finally acquired it, only to be lost in transport. The painting's price, which was once rumored to be as low as an amateur artist's work, skyrocketed in value and prestige. It is a story that has been retold for so long that it has been rumored to be a legend. However, recent news proves the painting's indisputable existence.
This week, the long-lost painting was found in the basement of an abandoned building, and its authenticity was verified by multiple appraisers. Miraculously, it was found in almost perfect condition, despite the environment it had been kept in for more than thirty years. Its whereabouts have puzzled the authorities as the once cold case suddenly spiraled to life. There is now an ongoing investigation that seeks to find the one responsible for the painting's initial disappearance.
The moment the painting was found to be real, it was immediately returned to House Barnett, the rightful owner of the piece. "I didn't even know this painting existed." Says Erdem Barnett, inheritor and now owner of the painting. "I remember hearing that story as a child, but I always thought it was just a story."
Additionally, rumors hailing from Regalia speak of an auction of a painting of the same name. A man named Arthur Wechsler is rumored to have claimed to be an appraiser in possession of the painting. Independent reports show the name "Arthur Wechsler" is not recognized by any credible art organization, with many acclaimed connoisseurs claiming they have "never heard that name in [their lives] to begin with". With rumors of more than one hundred thousand regals being spent at the auction, regalian authorities are urged to start an investigation.
