The man is sat at his desk, quill scribbling speedily across the parchment in front of him.
Dearest Moonlight,
How are you? That's the first thought on my mind when I awake. Are you okay? I hope so. Where are you? That's the second thought. Are you happy? That's the third. I hope you're having fun. That's the last, before my mind wanders onto things less important than you. I look forwards to your return, though I want for you to have enjoyed yourself, because what else would there be to feel. What I feel is a distinct absence of your presence, and it follows me through the day, like I'm missing something. Which I am, your smiles. I can't see them when you're not near. I look forwards to seeing them soon. I hope you're safe; safe and well. I'm impartial to the ocean, what are your views on it? I haven't spent much time with the ocean. I realise you travel, I just didn't realise how much. I don't travel much myself, maybe we could one day change that. Only been to Brissauds and Regalia, and my boarding school. Anyways, you mentioned a want to dance more, so when you come home we can dance, for as long as you wish. You're a good dancer once you get into the swing of things, I had fun dancing with you the other night. I look forwards to all out future dances. The ocean is ever changing. Everything changes A lot of things change. Some things last forever. I can name one such thing. Anyways, I ramble. Stay safe, alright? Have a good time, and come home soon. I will wait.
The letter complete, he hastily signs it, re-reading it, a smile crossing his face. Then, he sends the letter off, and gets on with his day. But he's awaiting a reply.
