Spoiler: Art Personality and Abilities First Paragraph: Leonara would often be seen as a friendly and approachable lass. She doesn't display much feats of aggression but quiet is one thing she is not. Through her life, being led on by a Lay Brother, she's been taught to help those that need it, and to forward the great way through any means possible. Though she disagrees with the thought of it, Leonara has seen that conflict often brings progress, and will not step in on active fights or conflicts unless they get bloody. Second Paragraph: Leonara is slightly conflicted inside, as she views the world as needlessly full or warring and hatred. She always thinks that words are a better solution to the world's problems, but accepts that force is often needed. Leonara chooses to defend those around her when it is needed, and will accept almost anyone into her company as if she knows nothing of Xenophobia or prejudice, though will hold any nelfin, other than Avanthar at bay. Leonara tries her best to be a friend of the world, but inside she knows that she's just deluded. Even still, she does what she does in an attempt to trick herself into believing it. Third Paragraph: Leonara is loving and homely towards her friends and possible lovers, she would walk to the ends of the earth and then some just to see the things that they want completed. She is loyal and often heartbroken if betrayed by those she holds dear. Leonara tries her best to be someone that people can fall back on, someone strong and dependable. But being as such, she always needs someone to fall back on as well. Fourth Paragraph: Leonara would without a doubt be of lawful good demeanour. She, according to herself and those of similar ideals, hasn't a single bad bone in her body. Whilst what she does may be questionable from an outside perspective, it is always a good thing to do in her mind, which may end up with her being misled and oftentimes blind to the opinions of others. If she knows what others want, she will try to supply it if she deems it to be in good favor of the Spirit. Fifth Paragraph (OPTIONAL): Whilst Leonara is an avid follower of the Fated Faith, as most Yanar are. She also accepts the Imperial Spirit as a third guide on her spiritual path, this being taught to her by the Lay Brothers she travelled with. She strictly believes that the spiritual powers which she follows are equal to each other, a triad of guiding lights that shine the way to her goals.c Talents School of Grun: Through her training in the School of Grun, and her sturdy frame attained from both training and ovalating with an Ailor, has provided Leonara with a very high level of skill in the use of a mace and shield, though the skill is often translated into the use of other weaponry. Leonara also has a high level of capability when it comes to living off of the land, being a Yanar, as well as a trained Dogartan soldier. Humanitarian Aid: Through her life experiences, as well as just a natural desire to help others, it has become a rather useful tool in Leonara's arsenal. She will listen to anyone's pleas, and will likely accept any call for help from anyone if it's something she thinks she can do. She's diligent and determined to get things done, for the benefits of others, even at the cost of herself. Weaknesses Careless: Whilst her desire to help others is so impeccably strong, her desire to help herself is almost entirely lacking. This often makes her run into problems when she helps the wrong person, as she is easily swayed by sob stories and deception. Life Story Birth: On the 22nd of December, 278 AC, Leonara was born to her Mother, Ariiya Guiles, a Velheimer-Ovalated Yanar who took residence in a small village outwith the main city of Regalia, on one of neighbouring islands on the archipelago. Her first ten days were simple, her short childhood passed within the blink of an eye, almost too quickly for her liking. She didn't learn much, but mentally and physically she developed to look almost exactly like her Mother, and she liked that. Leonara didn't spend much time at home, she left at the age of 2 years old. Moving on to find out more about the world, about this time she began to identify as a woman, despite her naturally rather toned build, which she would later build upon slightly. Growth: By the time Leonara was 8 years old, she'd taken to the streets of Regalia, performing rather menial tasks for others in exchange for little pay, she worked in apothecaries, restaurants and even as a servant to a few noble houses. By a chance meeting, and what some would call a miracle. She met a resting Lay Brother in the Tavern that she worked as a barmaiden at. His name, William Guiles, rather conveniently, the man whom her Mother had Ovalated with, a Velhemer who'd been imperialised, and served in the Pilgrim's Flock for several decades. After a rather extensive period of talking, and many chance enounters. Leonara developed a rather deep interest with William, and to deepen their bond, and to further her interest in what he does. She met him with the request of training in the School of Grun. Gleefully he accepted her into the group that would be travelling alongside them, all aspiring Lay Brothers of similar ages to herself. Leonara and the group traveled far and wide, from the deserts of the Farah'deen in the recent Songaskian wars, to the plains of the Ularen wastes during the Ranger crisis. Leonara experienced the world, picking up several languages on the way, as well as friendships that would last a lifetime. Bloom: At the age of 16, her time of travelling and bliss was gradually coming to an end. She was becoming very skilled in combat, whilst managing to maintain a pacifistic and positive outlook on the world, even with all that she has seen. Leonara, through her eight years travelling as a student of William, had grown to become the man's lover despite his age, they spent every waking moment together, talking and training. She was a Fighter in the School of Grun, and now made her way towards joining the Pilgrim's flock, William, being a man of advancing age, decided to retire himself to a small cottage in Leonara's home village, settling in with her Mother, awaiting Leonara's return. Leonara's time in the flock was rough, she tried her best in everything that she did. And made fully active attempts to save all she could, and if a kill was preventable, it was prevented. On her own, Leonara took twelve prisoners on the battlefield during the siege of Shaaq-Turnaal. Preventing their deaths, but only seeing to it that they were executed after about a week of imprisonment. She decided that such saving of lives was unjustified. Prisoners were a good asset, but the public murder, rather than battlefield murder of other's was something that she didn't want. Progression: Now, Leonara takes residence in Regalia, working passively in multiple shops and bars, whilst trying to find people that she could pass on her skills in Grun onto. In recent times she has visited her home also, returning to the proud, yet downtrodden embrace of her Mother. On the 16th of Februrary 304AC, William passed away, leaving a mental scar upon Leonara that likely won't fade for a while, but nevertheless, she presses on.
