[SPOILER="Invaded Spirit Mechanics"]

Invaded Mechanic I: Invaded Spirits are the exception to the norm, as they do have Heritage Traits. They inherit the Heritage Traits from the host they are possessing, but never the Free Packs.


Invaded Mechanic II: Invaded Spirits can choose one Magic Point Buy Pack for free. This specific Pack is always cast as the Sinistral Variant, but Magic Point Buy Rules apply for other Packs.


Invaded Mechanic III: Invaded Spirits gain the Wardrobe Pack Magical Variant Pack for free. Additionally they can sense residual Magic Alignment in an area during Events.


Invaded Mechanic IV: Invaded Spirits are immune to anything that would read/alter their emotions or conscience, and if killed, can always respawn in a different place 1 hour later, but must find a new host body.


Invaded Mechanic V: Invaded Spirits do not get a fifth Mechanic, because they inherit Heritage Traits from their Host Body, and gain those mechanics instead. This just preserves the formatting of the page.

[SPOILER="Maraya Mechanics"]

Mechanic I: Maraya have small Ichor glands on their hands, which are capable of producing Chrysalis that they can shape into Crystals of any shape or size.


Mechanic II: Maraya can also make music with these Chrysalis Crystals, as they can resonate based on tunes, and produce music autonomously.


Mechanic III: Maraya come from an Ancient world. They can read certain Event hints that may not be obvious to other Races (inquire with DM/Event Hoster for opportunities).


Mechanic IV: Maraya can (out of combat) remotely hijack Tech (including Automata) to follow their commands and instructions instead, due to their historical superiority.


Mechanic V: Maraya can (if they can reach melee distance safely) hack into Dragon Sites/Entities and alter their routines to unlock additional functions (consult Event Dm's).

Plothooks

  • A newly released vaulted Maraya (4 years ago) who has had a lot of bad luck in their life but hopes to make up for that by doing some good and learning how things work in this new world they have found themselves in.
    • [Hidden] The Ambition spirit within Lehel has altered their worldviews slightly, seeking more ambitious heights to help seek answers of the Maraya past and themselves.
  • Lehel uses technology and alchemy to sell goods to those in Crookback and the Sewers. If you wish to speak of such things then this is something they can help with.
  • [Hidden] Lehel uses Magic, Technology, and Alchemy but designates certain skills and powers to their disguises.
    • The Chemist - Can perform alchemy and healing magic. Also combat magic.
    • Melancholia - Uses combat magic and robotic bodies and technology.
  • Lehel has a soft spot for fellow Maraya, often times attempting to befriend them. If you seek to gain a long lost friend or new friend they can help with that.
  • Lehel has a dislike and distrust for the Dragons and Draconists. They do not often express this but they have a respect to Maraya Archon but it's complicated.

Backstory

Vaulted:

  • Lehel was one of the many who were lucky to be vaulted during the Meraic Civilization collapse. Their memories of before being vaulted ebbs and flows as things trigger it to return. To make matters worse, Lehel was invaded by a spirit not too long after who was in a Crystaltech dagger they had found outside, near the vault they were kept in.
  • Lehel's mother died during the Bright War as a Kul'Merai Archon on the front lines.
  • During the Meraic Era Lehel's skills of Technology and Alchemy were developed and honed by several years of study.
  • Technology has always interested Lehel and magic is just another form of that but they don't quite remember how they know how to use their magic as their is time missing in their memories.

Unvaulted:

  • Lehel has been three years free from the vaults and has spent that time learning all they can from around the world in technology and alchemy of what survived.
  • They have recently started to learn more about Theurgy (knowledge not in practice) as their Invaded Spirit did not reveal itself until they found themselves in Regalia.
  • This spirit inhabited a crystalline crystaltech dagger that changes its shape to what Lehel wishes to be. Lehel can hear the spirit speaking to them in their head sometimes whispering more ambitions they could achieve. The spirit has also been known to attempt to possess Lehel or alter their feelings and thoughts that would benefit them both.
  • Lehel has spent some time in Regalia and because of this has gained many allies, enemies, and acquaintances. They enjoy disguising themselves and gaining the trust of those in groups to help themselves in future exploits. Though they do not believe in betrayal.
