This actually has nothing to do with Massive itself, but rather the friend I returned with..
Me and him had a falling out...and me with no friends left at all has lost ALL MOTIVATION to RP or write lore at all. I feel like any effort I make to make friends just turns into a massive festival of them proceeding to use me as a personal punching bag, instead of actually wanting to be a real friend.
I haven't legitimately gone all-in on my Roleplaying and I can't do that on Massivecraft either, especially without friends to Roleplay with.
As for lore, I just seem to be endlessly banned and attacked over the lore I write. In addition, after 9 years of writing I still have no use for any sort of lore writing at all, the lore team on Massive itself is closed I know and I couldn't find another role on another community writing lore.
I feel like crap. The light at the end of the tunnel just isn't visible right now.

As winterless said, in the past it's been because I got too busy to play. This is different.
I've lost all actual motivation to play. I still have the creative itch and still want to write. I have a million plot ideas both for Massive and otherwise.
Will I ever get to execute them? Unless one of the servers closed-off cliques lets me in by some miracle, it won't happen, and a discord RP partner search that lasted a full year came up short.
 
@FlugalMC, you claim to have many ideas for writing lore and have written a lot of lore, but I have never once seen you make a Lore Prompt here on the forums. Therefore, I personally don't understand how you've been attacked for writing content that clearly isn't public and if it's private, well, you must have a lot of rude people you're showing it to if you're being attacked rather than critiqued.

As for the comment of "the lore team is closed", as I already mentioned, you've not once written a lore prompt for us, and from what I'm aware, you've not applied to the lore team in quite some time if ever. To be blunt, it doesn't seem like you even tried to explore joining us to help write articles or to help do Apps, events, and all of the other tasks we complete.

But, I'm sorry to see a community member go and I hope you enjoy life and have a good one too.
 
chief i dont even care much about rping and i have a fuck ton of motivation to write lore crap even though id prolly suck ass at it if i tried, if you cant find motivation to write that sounds more like a you problem and not the server (prolly the only time you'll see me defending the server lul but its just rp and lore, your imagination should be limitless)

I wish you could've reached out to us about your problems instead of spending years without having fun, but it's fine cause you couldn't help it. The louder ones arent everyone who's here. We aren't all who finely attuned to the social system of regalia. You've had a lot of internal conflict going on and I'm sorry about that.
It seems like your idea of creating lore avoids undertaking the reality of this realm. They're not regarded as added lore because they replace what's already here,(and people are protective of what's here) rather than a sort of discovery. Its like you've walled yourself off by performing rp in private. So maybe you haven't found a way to enjoy the world building because you're looking forward to, or fearing something in particular. You want a handle on the situation in rp but having control isnt about changing things, it's about not having things affect you.

i read that as me and him have fallen in love and now we will be taking to fair verona to express our tragedy for two days to return back in our ghosl-- ok sorry truly tho the only thing that was real was the first bit xd see u soon kiddo i feel like lotsa massive players are shit not gonna lie passive aggressive elitists but at the end of the day u got to roll with the punches

I mean a lot of people are unhappy with him because he basically cries wolf all day. "I'm back!- Wait no, I'm being bullied!- I'm leaving again!" Even though it's fair to say that I don't think anyone is bullying except being sarcastic on his fortieth leaving post.

ok but are we really going tod deny that massive craft roleplayers take roleplay too far, far too often and can be toxic at times lol

Why don't you come over to factions and write lore for a faction instead? Regalia has enough input.
 
I'd honestly love to do my own lore posts frequently (if I could) but I think my creative spark and ability to articulate my vision for something has long gone dim. Better just to give people a job and get them to do it, keep them involved and doing things.

I am still waiting for the other factions to establish themselves and write up a generic post describing what they're about so we can actually have good lore reasons to go to war (or ally)other than so and so is a tard.

We have the material available to us, all people have to do is incorporate it into whatever they're doing inside their little boxes.
 
So did they change the rules on making "I'm leaving massive" threads or what? Cause if so it's time to spam some of those.

It's why both versions crisis failed lol I said it over and over and nobody listened. If you don't force everybody to acknowledge it, then there's no reason to write lore or participate if any random schmo can just not recognize it as part of the world. How are you a king if somebody can just come in and say "No you aren't" lol.

It works in regalia because everybody is forced to acknowledge the lore.
