Core Concept
-
⇶The Covenant
→Lautaro is a patron of the Covenant, an oddity for anyone, let alone a Yanar. It is his love for nature and the tranquility of the natural world that caused his family to seek out this Earth-mother, and to reject the secular, worldly Gods in favor of one whose role is related to reality itself. The Earth-mother, he believes, seeks tranquility in the world- and that this can only be found, by supporting, defending, and protecting those who have seen through the self-interested lies of the 'secular', and 'artificial' gods who are the creators of division and suffering in the world. -
⇶Dreams of Revolution
→Lautaro is a person with a dream, one so grand, and so far away, that he does not believe he will see it in his life time. A dream born of melancholy, of personal suffering, and a world promised- and one not delivered. He dreams of a world free from feudalism, from capitalism, from imperialism, from violence, and from authority- a world at peace. He to his very core, is ideologically convicted, seeing himself not as a deviation from Yanar or Freefolk, or worshipers of Covenant; he believes he is of the vanguard of the next logical evolution of society, faith, and the world, and he will stop at nothing to bring the world into his vision. It is his belief, that acts of violence and public displays will awaken a dormant yearning for freedom in the people of the world, and lead to the realization of his dream. Lautaro, however, is not blind to the reality of the world as it is. Being aware of what stands against him, he moves with caution, concealing his motives and intents from all but those closest to himself. He holds only one true love: the dream of a world yet to come.
Visual Information
-
⇶Eye Color |
→Naturally grey. Presently crimson.⇶Skin Color & Face |
→Lautaro 'skin' is stem-like where exposed, and rather rough in texture. It varies between brown and green, and is something punctuated by small thorns. He has a relatively flat face, with three small eyes that belie a thoughtful yet conniving personality, two thin slits acting as a nose. His mouth is wide, and (evenly) jagged near the bottom of his face, closer to where any other's chin has ought to be.⇶Foliage and Flowers |
→Lautaro foliage acts as his clothing. His autumn-colored petals flow long and exaggerated, to form the shape of his 'clothing', which appears like a Regalian Tenpenny's greatcoat. Atop his head he 'wears', or rather, has grown, a pointed cap not dissimilar from a budenovka, or a Szabadok cavalry helm, if such a helmet was in fact a flower out of bloom, and closed up.⇶Height |
→Lautaro stands at around 5'10, an average height.⇶Body Type |
→With an overall average build, his only distinct feature regarding his build would be that his stem-like skin fails to emulate the traditional shapes of humanoid muscle. He generally does not shift his shape despite the ability to do so, preferring a relatively masculine body of aforementioned proportions and muscle. -
⇶TBA|
→TBA. -
⇶Clothing | Militant Petals
→Lautaro long ago forfeited any chance of having any normal financial situation, and his 'clothing', rather, the lack thereof, proves it. His clothing is an emulation born from his own Yanar magic. As mentioned above, he emulates with his foliage, a Regalian Tenpenny greatcoat, styling himself like a cavalier against the Empire and aristocratic class. The only thing he wears, which is not of his own creation, is the strap of his Aciculanza, always strung over his shoulder- always prepared for a fight.⇶Weaponry | Cavalry (Shortened) Aciculanza with Bayonet, and Bombs
→Lautaro is proficient in the use of firearms, taking to a modern style of warfare as the times have changed. Most often this means he uses a half-Aciculanza with an attached bayonet, imported from Tierrevaran rebels. Of course, combat is always a last resort- throwing a bomb or two from out of sight, and quickly retreating, is always the preferred method.⇶Additional Notes |
→Lautaro, whilst having access to superior magical mounts, prefers the simplicity of the horse.
→Lautaro almost never changes his form, and seems evidently to believe that hiding one's physical form from the world is a sort of cowardice, at least when it comes to his self.

Yanar Heritage
→1 Altered Self: You may create two versions of yourself that you can transform between. Each can have a different design, Proficiency spread, and personality. You must declare one as your Main Proficiency, and choose one from Yanar Dual Identity. Swapping can only occur out of Combat, while no Cooldowns are active, and force you to stay transformed for at least 48 hours.
→2 Emotion Sense: You can sense the emotions of others, even the ones they try to hide unless they have a Mechanic that would block their emotions from being read. Additionally, you can copy their emotions and feel them yourself, you can heighten or lessen their emotions, or encourage other emotions in them with mere eye contact. Changing someone else's emotions requires OOC Consent, however.
→3 Wood Singer: You can use song, music, or hand gestures to reshape wood and other plant-like materials in any shape you like, for example, jewelry or weapons. Other good applications for this are as furniture or decorations inside houses, or to address in-the-moment needs while in the forest, for example by creating wooden bowls, or chairs to sit on that sprout from the roots in the soil.
→4 Seed Singer: You are deeply in tune with nature's growth and diversity. You can control the growing speed of plants and flowers around you, and even cross-breed plants at will to create unique new plants, and even reshape existing plants with new foliage, color, shape, and so forth. You can grow food nearly anywhere, so long as there is a little bit of soil, water, and sunlight present to stave off hunger.
→5 Dream Singer: You can control the dreams of anyone who is either sleeping in your Rental Region/ Base/ Estate or anyone who is sleeping in the same scene as you. You can see their dreams, alter their course and their experience, and prevent them from waking up or forcibly waking them. You can also enter their dream subconsciously and speak/ interact with the person, and make them forget what happened in the dream after.
Dissolution Society
→Watertight Ability: Two times per month, you can abuse a network of sympathizers to get out of Greygate scot free for any crime except Treason. Your arresters still know what you did, they just can't do anything about it through the Metropolitan. They can still attack you.
Vampirism
→Common Mechanic I: Vampires can use a Court Glamor to hide their Vampire teeth and Red Eyes from anyone but fellow Vampires, except during feeding. This counts as a Disguise, and does not work on those who already know the Vampire is a Vampire.
→Common Mechanic II: Vampires, if they have Disguising or Shapeshifting Magic, can hide their Vampire teeth and Red Eyes from anyone but fellow Vampires, but all of their Proficiencies are set to 0, and they cannot use Abilities in Combat.
→Common Mechanic III: Vampires can use a Party Glamor at Server Events/Player Events (not Raids), which acts as a Disguise, until the leave the Event Venue. Cannot ever be used outside of Event Venues.
→Common Mechanic IV: Vampires can grant immunity to Vampirism to any person willing to bargain with them. In turn, if the bargained person attacks the Vampire or reveals the deal, they take massive damage (discuss in Dm's what this means).
→Common Mechanic V: Vampires, when applying Curses via Advanced Roleplay Mechanics can apply minor Curses that last for up to 12 Hours max, without needing OOC Consent, which count as having +1 Magic Stat for dispelling considerations.
Bremnevel Bloodline
→Bremnevel Mechanic I: Bremnevel Vampires can transform into large bat-like monsters, gaining Elytra flight including the use of rockets for movement. Combat immediately cancels flight and this cannot be used in Combat.
→Bremnevel Mechanic II: Bremnevel Vampires gain a single Void Magic Familiar, which is styled as some kind of corrupted small Animal (bat, cat, mouse, etc), which they can see through the eyes of during Events (consult DM).
→Bremnevel Mechanic III: Bremnevel Vampires gain +1 Main Offense Stat (breaks Cap up to 11) while they are in Gloomrot Forest, and gain out of combat Healing Powers, styled as Blood Magic or as Alchemy.

→Whilst a cool mechanic, not having a honse takes away a lot of this character's intended aesthetic, and forces him to be Occult outside of Affliction. Thus, Lautaro does not possess this ability set.
Life Story and Plot Hooks
-
⇶ Obscure..
It seems, despite your best efforts, that Lautaro, or someone else, has somehow managed to eliminate most references to him in the bureaucracy- though, not entirely. He first appears in Girobalda after the Red Uprising, and is mentioned scarcely in possible connection to various and seemingly disconnected attacks in the countryside against various estates, banks, and debtors prisons. A specific incident involving the burning of a manor house keeping a large number of debt records relating to the local peasantry led to a larger investigation, however, these investigations landed Lautaro only in local labor detention for a year as a result of improper paperwork, and further connection remains unproven. There are various bank and loan statements in his name, as well as a number of bonds which appear as well to be the source of a seemingly endless well of wealth with no clear origin. His latest appearance in the records is pertaining to the sale of a ship, which was chartered a single time to the City of Regalia's port alongside crates of animal feed, before being sold again shortly thereafter to an anonymous buyer. No further easily discerned references exist to the elusive Yanar. -
→Girobaldan Native| Lautaro has spent all but a few months of his life in Girobalda itself. He cares deeply for the region- but not for those who rule it. The jungles on the outskirts of the expanding, industrial plantations are his home- a place far more free, than under the yoke of fuedalism and capital.
→Yanar Disconnected From Heritage| Lautaro is descended from Yanar who immigrated to Regalia long ago, around the time of the Destruction of Ceardia. Mingling with these refugees, the subsequent generations of this family found themselves stepping far away from the familiar 'Yanar' things of Daen- and instead, in the arms of the Earth-Mother: the Covenant. It was only natural then, that they would isolate themselves in the forest.
→Protector of the Woods| Lautaro cares deeply for the 'untouched', and natural world. He views Regalian imperialism, colonialism, fuedalism, capitalism, industrialism, and the plethora of 'artificial', and 'secular' gods as plights upon the world that should be eradicated, so that all the peoples might live in harmony with the tranquil reality the Earth-mother gifts to mortals. -
→Child of the Red Uprising | Lautaro came of age just as the tumultuous years of the Red Uprising began. Inspired by the movement against corrupt officials and aristocrats, he and a handful of other likeminded Girobaldans attempted to emulate those in Dragenthal- and they suffered the consequences.
→Freedom Fighter and Dissolutionist | Lautaro has fought for the 'freedom' of Girobalda for almost all of his life, with deadly conviction. Small, organized cells of these fighters (some might call 'terrorists') would assassinate plantation owners, aristocrats, and government officials alike and take what they needed in 'appropriations', before retreating into the deeper jungles.
→Persecuted by Herebrand Order | The split of the Unionist faith during the early 300s led to a crackdown by the Herebrand Order in Girobalda, and though his group were not the heretics the Order was looking for, the discovery of rebels in the jungle led to an on-and-off flight deeper, and deeper into the jungles of Girobalda. Some claim monsters live there- those, of a Bremnevel variety.
