Core Concept Plot Hooks

• Laerilas Valloaan is a seventy-four year old Teled Finul who publicly prides himself on his martial prowess and political savviness. He came into his family's court titles through notably dubious means, which puts into question this particular Elf's honesty by sources familiar with his dark past. Despite his life's trials, Laerilas strives to find success for himself and his family through any means necessary. He is both a liar by trade and hobby, even if the reasons for his deceit come down to something as simple as his love for the game. At his core, perhaps there is some desire to do right by his family and his people, but the innate urge to do bad often leads him astray.
• Count of Tal Morrlondasseïävasso: Laerilas is the Patriarch of House Valloaan, a Court Family within the Regalian Nobility. While he typically involves himself in Elven affairs, it's known that he likes to get his hands messy in a wide variety of topics, especially if there's gossip or drama.
  A Child of "Pride": While Laerilas is a child of the Intrigue Arken, he certainly doesn't make it known. Publicly, he passes himself off as a child of Pride, which is most believable by his many actions displaying arrogance and ego.
  A Dubious Past: In his younger years, Laerilas was tried by Mineria's justice system after having been accused by his younger sister, Alessë, of murdering their brother, Ëandrel, and their father. Some time prior to this accusation, both Eandrel and the siblings' father had mysteriously disappeared (and notably have never been found). The Minerian courts found Laerilas to be innocent of the charges pressed against him, though the reasoning for this comes down purely to a lack of evidence.
