Spoiler: cool story bro Kolvar was born on a slave ship from the Dread Isles to his mother, Zandri'el. She was taken aboard the ship as a slave, a Zolathar resistant to her people's faith and practice. She was made an example of, tortured by the head Saivale cultists of 'The Satyr', the ship. Once Kolvar was born, his mother was sacrificed to the Void by drowning almost immediately, leaving him parentless. Without a name and a mother, he was raised by the devote cultists and the foul sailors of the ship. Through these years, it became apparent that he'd retained a vast amount of his mother's traits, most being unnatural to his kind, the most notable an uncanny sense of empathy. It shone through his innate ability to befriend the slaves of the ship, able to acknowledge their suffering, even as a child. For this, he'd be punished brutally, but he would never learn. Kolvar began his adult life in Daen, quickly falling into a loose, responsibility-free lifestyle. He spent his time swinging in and out of taverns, brothels and massage shoppes, for service of all walks. With such a brash and demanding lifestyle, he had to find reliable means of keeping himself supplied with coin, so he found himself understudying in general body service; masseuse work, tattoos, piercings etc. During this time, he also invested himself in dancing, a passion he never quite let go of. Years of wandering led the half-and-half to Sillbrae, a pirate state. The abundance of corsairs and sailors brought in a steady streamline of coin and people looking for service, a sure way to maintain his destructive lifestyle. Clouded thoughts led to poor oversight, and once the rats of Sillbrae noticed there was a drunken, vulnerable Kathar wandering the streets all on his lonesome, that was promptly taken advantage of. He wound up in an Ithanian manor, used as a running lure for hunting dogs. With nothing but his wit and people skills, the Kathar managed to work his way up from running lure to consort and murdered his capturer in his sleep. From there, he would flee to Teled Methen. There, on top of his espionage studies, he would delve into law, finances and statesmanship. Then he go to Regalia ig.
Just a few pointers as a fellow player: Going above the age of 55 will give you 60 Proficiency Points, 60 is the maximum. Even at age 86, your character will only have 60 points to spend and not 91. You still have your 10 Hobby Points, though. I'm not sure if the skill name 'Kathar Ritualism' still exists, but I'm pretty sure it's been replaced by Void Ritualism, which is still functionally the same. Take this with a pinch of salt, but it might be best to expand the life story of your character considering their age.
Sorry to bother you, but where did you get 47 from? From my calculations, it should be 40. Did I calculate it wrong, perhaps? @Havsbris_
I am getting a point total of around 50 spent. In addition, your dancing and musical art numbers are wrong. And some bodystat calculations are off. Musical does not contribute to bodystat.
These are incorrect, in addition I am still only getting 50 points spent. Hobby points are free points atop the base 60.
@Caelamus They are adding 4 from their point pool and 6 from their hobby bonus to make 10 in each skill
I will ask that you clarify totals +25 Fastblades (+25 Invested) +10 Muscial Arts (+6 Hobby Points, +4 Invested) For example so I can clearly determine investments.
