Backstory/Plothooks
Kip Vellton's Story: Kip was born into the capital city of Regalian to an Alchemist and an engineer, practically rocketing her studies beyond those around her age. By age 5 Kip was as smart as most adults arounder, and by the time she left her home, smarter than her own professor. However her intelligence did not translate well to anything else. While she was usually the smartest in any room she was in, that created a pedestal for her, making her believe that she is better than the average person which would quickly draw them away from her and never getting closer. Her intelligence also acted as a hinderance, never actually accepting help or advice from even the few who could be considered peers in her eyes. This would prove to be her down fall. One day while looking through a book on various materials used in potion making she saw a mushroom that's used to create some of the greatest elixirs in the world. Intrigued, Kip took what she needed and searched for the cave which holds the mushroom. Kip reached the cave alone, found the hole alone, and began her decent before she began to fall... and moments before she hit the ground, noticing the slight shimmer from the mushroom, she believed she will now die alone too...

Halla's Backstory: Halla is s second generation Bralona and woke up deep in a cave and down a hole with walls too steep to climb, Halla quickly gave up on escape. Deep in her hole she was accompanied by a rhythmic dripping sound, the occasional rodent or bug that would burrow into her abode, and the luminescent plants that grew deep around her. Halla's favorite part was the light. One day Halla was startled by a new sound, one different from the wet slaps of her walking on stone, one too loud for it to be a mole or bug, and then one too abrupt to be the sound of the drip. Curious, Halla looked for the source of the sounds and found an Ailor, crumpled in her puddle. Halla was unsure what happened or who or what the creature before her was, but nearly as soon as she reached out and touched the fallen person she could feel her pain. Halla didn't know what to do, and as soon as she grasped the girl she felt warm and then cold and pain, their bodies warping and straining against each other before they shift into a small orb...

Together: 72 hours later, Kip and Halla awoke in a chest, alerting the caver's who picked their orb up. Expecting to find a Bralla, they were met with half the gaze of a, Ailor and said Bralla. The cavers tried to tend to the Brakin back to full health, but it seemed like the two consciousness were continuously fighting each other, one trying to push the other out of mind while the other fights to survive and reason with the stuck up "host". After a month or so of being cared for by the cavers, the two minds began to talk, like people. Halla learned of the world outside her cave, the various people and even those like her, about towns and cities, and even about smaller things like what the sun, sky, and clouds are. While Halla was taught about common things, Kip was finally taking a lesson from another and learned of Halla, about her curiosity, her need to learn and explore, and her desire to even learn about Kip. Slowly but surely, KIp and Halla began to understand each other, seeing their flaws and problems and came to the decision to keep help each other. Gradually, as their promise is truly taken to heart by both parties, they begin to move, first their fingers, then their toes, and eventually their arms, legs and then they learn to walk and then run. Traveling back home one last time, the partners banding together to leave and travel the lands in a search for knowledge...
