Kinteh is a tired, broken person who has come from much struggle and turmoil. While she remains faithful to Evolist gods, the pep in her step has long since been lost, and the light in her fiendish eyes is gone. She is a mage for hire, willing to do whatever it takes to get by, selling her spells to any cause pays the best. | Quick to loser her temper, Kinteh usually seems to be either on the verge of ranging, or passed out in a wine-drunken stupor. She picks fights with anyone and everyone over the smallest of offences, and finds it difficult to choose her battles wisely. | The once great desire to better her powers and self has mostly dwindled, leaving behind a shell of a woman. Kinteh seeks nothing but to survive and to make life worse for those around her. |
Those remembering the name "Dzekh'aar(iirn)" may seek to question this Kathar's criminal history.
Many may have seen a small, mutated Kathar planting Wyldwarped seeds in every garden bed and crack in the cobble she finds- it can be assumed that figure is Kinteh.

Backstory
Nenetl Cocolo was born in the canopy of an arboreal village. Her home was a winding cluster of treehouses and vine bridges, perched high above the jungle floor. Raised by her single mother, a quiet healer known for her mastery of herbal remedies, Nenetl was taught to see the world through the lens of nature's intricate beauties. Her mother's gentle ways and deep respect for the forest shaped Nenetl's love for the wild, making her feel as much a part of the trees and leaves as the creatures that roamed beneath them.
Growing up, Nenetl's curiosity pushed her toward the mystical. She became captivated by the hidden knowledge of the earth, the arcane secrets buried in plant life, and the invisible forces that moved through the natural world. Her teen years were marked by the arrival of Gladio, a wandering Yanar scholar who arrived at the village seeking refuge. A man of few words but immense knowledge, Gladio took Nenetl under his wing, teaching her the art of alchemy, as well as his own personal studies into occult magic and nature's truths. He spoke of the life essence within the soil, and of rituals to communicate with forces beyond the veil.
Nenetl absorbed every lesson, her once-childish wonder now tempered by the weight of deeper understanding. By the time she reached adulthood, her affinity had evolved into a powerful blend of practical alchemy and mysterious arcane practices. But her heart still longed for answers, and she knew there were layers of nature and magic yet to uncover—layers that only the most daring adventurers could discover.
With Gladio's teachings marking the beginning of her own knowledge expansion, Nenetl set off for the Regalian Archipelago. Though the culture was vastly different from the one she had grown up in, Nen did her best to acclimate and learn all that she could. In what seemed like no time however, she happened upon a Katharic man- one who welcomed her to the city of Regalia with open arms, and offered to take her under his wing as another mentor of sorts.
As the two grew closer, the man began to challenge her understanding of the occult world, and taught her his own ways of magical mastery and prowess. She fell in love with the power of the arcane, taking every chance she could to duel and hone her own skills. As her passion for her newfound abilities grew, so did her curiosity in the Kathar and his own culture.
Eventually, the man introduced Nenetl to his family of sorts- a rag tag group of mages, grifters, scam artists, and undercity dwellers. There was a sense of belonging instilled in the woman, and she soon found herself mulling over the offer to be dread rebirthed, and accepted into the family as a true member. The choice was not a difficult one, and days later, Kinteh Ravat'lahab Dar-Rana Raz-Easifuh Rehkiirn was reborn.

Extended Backstory
Kinteh grew as a person more and more every day. Gone was the quiet, bookish girl who could only explain the powers of the world. In her place stood a confident, Kathar woman- one who fought beside her chosen family for the rights of the undercity, and for the ever changing evolution of her own kind. Through her magic, Kinteh found the art of magical body modification and mutations, soon warping her being beyond that of a pure nelfin.
With her studies and practice duels came too the understanding of Evolist ideals, Kinteh soon devoting herself to the practices of both Ventra and Catheron. She was slowly becoming more and more radicalized however, with movements and actions taken by her kin that caused deep uproar and turmoil within their community, and Regalia as a whole. Still, she remained loyal to a fault, allowing her name to be tarnished with nights spent in Knight's cells, and for the name of her kin to be likened to that of true terrorists.
To Kinteh, Evolism was not just a religion of power and destruction- it was freedom. It was liberation from the constraints of mortal society, from the lies that kept them bound to a world that did not understand true power. She came to believe that through Evolism and the cruel actions of her kin, they could transcend their flesh and become something greater, something eternal. At the same time, her love for the man that introduced her to the world she now lived in grew into something darker. Something that was possessive, and something that she felt would never end, because she could never again live without it.
Unfortunately as it seems to always be the case, nothing can truly last forever. The family became tense, their actions divided. The head of their organization, a being of such intense power and strategy, soon saw their final battle, and drew their final breath. The death of their Lodestar was devastating to many kin, and for Kinteh, it was something she never truly got over.
Kinteh's heart withered more and more each day. For years, she had clung to the man that introduced her to her new life, and to the family that had accepted her, as well as to the vision of a world undone, of chaos, and of power beyond mortal reach. Without them, everything she had once believed seemed to unravel.
As time bled away, Kinteh's once unshakable faith began to fracture. Lost and without purpose, Kin clung on to the fragmented remnants of their movement. The rebellion, now fractured and leaderless, scattered. Those who had once shared the vision either fell into disarray or were hunted down by those who feared their ideology. Kinteh, alone and adrift in a world that had lost its meaning, began to lose herself too.
In her grief, she became desperate for direction. She would listen to anyone who claimed to have answers, anyone who promised her the solace she so desperately craved. And that's how she found her way into the clutches of a small-time cult leader with a silver tongue and the ability to weave terrible ideas into appealing narratives. They spoke of the Void's true power, of forging empires with blood and madness, of ascending to the realms of the void gods through pure, unrelenting obedience. He promised her a place of significance—a new role, a new purpose, one that would make her the second-in-command of his growing following.
He saw her, in her raw grief, as a tool, a weapon to further his own ambitions. He knew that Kinteh, once a powerful and fervent believer, was now broken, her devotion twisted into something even more dangerous—a mind that would accept anything that might bring back the love she had lost. Their words seduced her, and she bent to their will.
But the cult leader quickly realized that Kinteh, despite her desperation, was not the follower he had hoped for. She balked at his methods—his ruthless manipulation, his casual disregard for the lives of those who followed him blindly. She could not bring herself to betray what had once been shown to her, even if it was just a fragment of the truth. She was torn between her memories and current demands, and it began to show.
The new leader, a being with no patience for weakness, saw her hesitation as rebellion. Kinteh's failure to follow orders, her inability to completely bend her will to theirs, enraged them. She had become a broken thing, but she was still too dangerous to leave unchecked. They needed to teach her obedience, to break what was left of her spirit and turn her into a true instrument of the Void.
One night, when Kinteh failed to carry out a task they had set before her, the punishment was swift and savage. A group meeting was called, and each member was made to watch as the leader ruthlessly tore Kinteh's mutated ear from the base, a symbol of her disobedience, a reminder of her place beneath him. The pain was unbearable, but it was nothing compared to the fury that churned within her chest. In that moment, the final shred of her humanity cracked.
And so, Kinteh was reborn in agony, her heart twisted even further by the mutilation and the crushing weight of loss. No longer the devoted lover, no longer the follower of a cause, she became a weapon—one bent to the whims of the Void, and to anyone who could manipulate her fractured mind. She had no love left in her, only an unrelenting hunger for the power that had once promised her, and the cold, twisted devotion that had replaced the warmth of her former self.
Each scar on her body became a monument to her own internal ruin, a reminder that she would never find peace. The gods no longer whispered; they screamed, and Kinteh listened—hungry for their power, but hollow in her heart. She was no longer Kinteh, the girl who had loved with such passion. She was something else, something broken and dangerous, molded by loss, manipulated by cruelty, and consumed by the very darkness she had once sought to embrace.
