She was never quite accepted by others, but she made do and climbed up the food chain by climbing up the sides of buildings, and into windows, and out again with valuables. Her life has been fairly unremarkable despite the Canter career, with only minor run-ins with Violets. Spoiler: Life Story Kesia was born to Monifa (her Varran mother) and Justo (her Daendroque Ailor father) in 275 AC in the midst of the Regalian Pessimism. The economy was stagnant and falling, and the city was ripe with crime because of it. Coming from a poor, and fairly pushed-aside family, she naturally found her way into the criminal underworld early, starting off as a Look Out and Distractor, before eventually working her way up to pick pocketing and burglary. Over the years, she worked her way up, mostly focused on burglarizing businesses and attracting a fair bit of small-time fame in the undercrofts, but nothing extremely noteworthy. The most notable occurrence in this time really was getting caught for pickpocketing once- upon which she tried and failed to seduce the Violet handling the arrest, having failed to recognize that she was female under the helmet and armor, which became a bit of an inside joke her friends used to torment her. She has stuck with Canting because its what she knows, even now with the economy fixed and jobs open. The thrill, the skill, and the mild fame calls to her.
