{Life Story}

0-15:
-Kaze was born a few minutes after his sister, Lei, to Cae'sselei Nella'nea, a Fin’ullen Altalar sellsword, and a Common Sihai merchant, Ha'bae'ei Liang'ing, on the western coast of Daendroc, 272AC. His mother had settled after meeting his father and brought in most of the family income through trading.
-The two siblings both received the same basic schooling from tutors in their early years, alongside being taught to speak Common, Wa'an and Modern Elven. Whilst Lei developed a stubborn temper, Kaze became socially driven and a familiar face amongst the community and travelling merchants.
-This also marked the beginning of their combat training, with their father and his kin teaching them archery before moving into how to fight up close and personal. Both siblings were encouraged to join the training sessions of the Altalar forces, although Kaze favoured betting on the outcomes of each fight and using his own fists rather than fall into the crowd.
-Kaze continued training whenever he could, eager to prove himself amongst the others whilst yearning to see the wider world one day and pursue a greater destiny.

11-25:

-Around the age of 15, the siblings were finally told they would be leaving the Daendroc coast as a family to head for the Sihai homelands of Dexai to meet the other side of their family. Kaze was thrilled to start a new adventure and quickly starting packing whilst Lei had grown more accustomed to tribal life and was comforted by their father.
-Eventually, the family set off at a slow pace along the roads with Dexai as their destination. Their parents brought in money through occasional contracts and trading but used these opportunities as teaching for Kaze and Lei to show them how to put their skills to use to gain income.​

-Upon arriving in Dexai, Kaze and Lei settled down with their parents on the outskirts due to the stigma against half breeds on the mainland. The former found himself enjoying their surroundings and was quick to adapt to life amongst the various Sihai Dynasties and cultures present.
-Kaze maintained his combat skills throughout this time, falling into another group mainly comprised of War Dynasty Sihai that enjoyed fighting and betting. He noted the existence of gangs but preferred to keep on friendly terms with everyone he met despite their outlook towards half-breeds, with his sister acting as protection when his ignorance got them into trouble.
-Magic started to become a more integral part of Kaze's life during this time, desiring to stand out amongst the crowds despite his mixed heritage. He began to learn sorcery spells for self-defense, largely from a wise elemental mage but he also dipped into spirit sorcery through his contacts in the underworld to enhance his fighting ability.
-Disliking the limitation of being confined to the outskirts of Dexai, Kaze also took interest in the ships that came in from the local docks and always looked out for new stories and chances to make some extra coin.

26-35:
-During these years in Dexai, Lei found the lodgings of one of her cousins, Moji Shimizu, and introduced her and her Avanthar significant other to Kaze. It was from the couple that the siblings first found out about Regalia, a lively city ripe with opportunities and a community of aberrants that would be accepting Kaze should they ever visit.
-With Moji and his kin already involved in smuggling and trade, Kaze started to assist them by joining the crews of his family's ships to be taken out for long missions. Whilst he enjoyed the few days spent at new ports, the half-breed was always eager to return to Dexai to see his sister again.
-Kaze and Lei stayed in Dexai until the age of twenty eight, until they made the decision that there was nothing more the lands could offer him. The pair eventually set off on a journey to see more of the world, saying goodbye to the friends they had made over the years.
-Starting the journey off with one of Moji's crews, the pair slowly made their way across the seas and stopped off at local ports to take on small jobs to earn more money. Many of their connections came from the family trade back home, but they were also determined to find their own paths.
-During this time, they both took on the last name Takenaka to create their own identities and ensure that any mistakes they made through their troublesome nature could not be traced back to their parents.
-Inspired by the stories from their extended family and people met along the way, Kaze and Lei eventually headed towards the city of Regalia to connect with other halflings, make new friends and forge a new life in a city ripe with opportunities.

36-Present:
-After many months of aimless poverty in Regalia, Kaze was eventually offered the chance to become a Manathar by a Nelfin named Kel'drocos. Wanting to feel whole and inspired for once, Kaze visited the Black Temple and became an Apostle Manathar after being bathed in fire.
-Kaze spent a few months in Regalia getting used to his new form, before he was caught by wanderlust again. Leaving as quietly as usual, he set sail once more to re-establish his trade connections but soon realised the people outside of Regalia were not used to seeing Manathar. Initially treated harshly for his demonic appearance, he lashed back at anyone who dared insult him and focused on finishing his rounds without further trouble until he could make it back to home.
-By the time Kaze had returned to Regalia, he had matured into a capable unarmed fighter with much more control over his Manathar form. However, his spells took a backseat to his preference for using his Manathar muscle in combat.
-After a year of marriage to a fellow Sihai, Kaze eventually became dissatisfied with his Manathar form and realised the limitations had begun to outweigh the benefits. He finally turned his back on the Xenophane to return to his mixed heritage, hoping to practice his sorcery spells once more whilst supporting what remains of the Sihai community.
-After a long trip back to Dexai, Kaze reunited with his family and settled down for a little while due to the birth of his son. Looking after his wife, he also familiarized himself with his spells, the skills needed to survive on the streets and the negative reputation Half-breeds still had in Dexai.
-Wanting to avoid his son receiving similar treatment, Kaze eventually decided to return to life on the open seas to carve out his legacy once more, with regular trips to Regalia with his family.
