Core Concept

• Kaiqiu is a recently graduated Aelrrigan Knight with a lot to prove, possessing virtually no motivation or personal goals other than to "fulfill his duty." Having freshly moved to Regalia, Kaiqiu searches for whatever it is that drives him after being pressured into finding the motivation to make something more of himself by his peers.

Appearance Information

• Kaiqiu can easily be picked out in a room full of average folk, standing at about 6'8". Despite his imposing height, Kaiqiu is fairly lanky in appearance, though he does bear a decently athletic physique . There's a distinct lack of care towards his snow white hair, perpetually looking as if he'd just gotten out of bed.

• When it comes to clothing, Kaiqiu, no matter the weather, is always dressed for the cold. If not wearing his typical furred, winter getup, it's something similar, almost never showing skin. He most notably wears some kind of fur hat with his usual getup.

Plot Hooks

• Kaiqiu was born and raised in Northern Kintyr, the second son of a Breizh Ailor father and Beian Sihai mother. Due to his father's heritage and magical prowess, he was enlisted into the Aelrrigan Order at the minimum age.

• Like his courtesy name suggests, Kaiqiu's magic is based on the cold of winter, primarily ice. His body is cold to the touch, and he is more at home when in cooler environments. Over the past few months, he's begun to use his magic in a much more aggressive manner.

• Kaiqiu is quite proud of both sides of his heritage, judging by his multicultural name. He incorporates both aspects of his parents' upbringing into his own lifestyle, between the coolness of the Beians to the hardiness of the Breizh.

• Kaiqiu naps frequently throughout the day, even during important events. His outward demeanor is typically lazy and unattentive.

• Kaiqiu is generally jovial with anyone, but comes off a bit brash and even rude at times. He is very full of himself and lets everyone know it with his frequent habit of unnecessarily making things a competition.
