Joining And Leave Killing

Since this didn't go in the Faction topics I just put it in general. I've recently had a problm with a noob who had a quality shovel (9.25 hitpoints of dmg) and would ask for a faction, lead the members into the wilderness, leave and kill him. I asked a staff emeber if this was legal, and i'm just looking for confirmation, and how to prevent this. Mine in particular said he could make us absolutely raid-proof and that he made Daemonum, Insani, etc raid-proof, but he needed help getting resources. I took him to the supply room and he looked in every chest for a solid FIVE seconds and said we didn't have the stuff he wanted. We left for the wilderness, and once we were far away enough (for him) from the gate, he got his quality shovel (lore voting item) and hit me over and over again. Me, being defenseless, grabbed my Diamond Axe. He eventually killed me, and I was back to square one, since the first time I promoted him he stole everything. Since I was a non-prem and still am to this day, I dropped my stuff when I died. I don't remeber his username but I think it was Bacon_king101 or something. (i was wearing full diamond gear.)

Diamond gear isn't that hard to get. Get to mining, I'd suggest.

Your better off spending 5 minutes in a darkroom to recover your stuff.

its not illegal , the new updated rules states that protection your faction is your own responsibility , if you fail to do so its your fault , and placing a so much trust on a complete stranger is your own fault .

Also just to add on , a raid proof base is not impossible , just box up your house (but make sure its medival looking) , its not that hard , if not just build underground . Your items aint worth that much honestly , i do not suggest you create a faction with low capital funds to invest , just join a faction willing to take you in , use their darkroom and build yourself up , its easy to earn money that way .
