Jannick is an soft, kind hearted, young man. His main goal in life is to be able to protect and serve those who cannot protect or serve themselves. He maintains an optimistic view of the world and he continues to try to spread kindness and good in the ways he knows how to.

Ripley - His best friend and love, and now Fiance. They have known each other for years and have seen each other grow into the young people they are now. He worries about her deeply but knows she is smart enough to get out of any trouble she might find herself in.

Kingsley - An unlikely companion. His feelings towards the brood are complicated and hard to put into words at times, though he appreciates all she has done for Ripley. King is a good, kind person and Jannick knows this and sees the work he puts in to be better and to change.

Calder - A connection long past, now rekindled. He deeply appreciates Calder's sensibilities, his wit and his charm. For better or for worse, Calder will be there for those he loves and this Jannick can rely on. He knows how deeply Calder cares, even if the man does not want to admit it himself.

Skully - Family. Ingraining herself so deeply into his (and Ripley's) heart(s), Skully has become a staple of their weird, blended family. She is a sister he didn't quite realize he was missing and he feels deeply that they have always been made to be friends, that this was always going to happen for them.

Major Henrik Osmont - His beloved mentor, Jannick practically takes Osmont's word as law. He sees him as the older brother he never had, appreciating all the time Osmont puts into training him and housing him. He strives to be a knight Osmont is proud of.

Ser Kreiger Von Karlisle - An unlikely friend found within a Major of the Viridian Order, now Lothar. He looks up to Kreiger as both a knight and a man, someone he desperately relates to and knows believes in him. Jannick deeply appreciates all Kreiger taught him through his squireship and all the man continues to do for him.

Sina Gray- A dear friend and relative who he had a habit of following around like a lost puppy. She didn't seem to mind it though.
