He spends several years there as a forced laborer, until his eventual escape. After meeting with an aspiring captain named Khayri El-Amin, he joins his crew and the two travel to Regalia.

@Nesstro Sorry to tag again but I JUST REALIZED that Songaskians get a +5 racial boost to spear combat, so I moved 5 points from spear combat to javelin combat.
