when the buds untangled their limbs,
to produce lily-white petals
that defied the Hand of Death.
Underneath the willow tree,
I mourned a life that could not be,
with the darling, oh so close to me,
taken by the quiet Darkness.

to pick up His spade, that He brought back tonight.
'Its name is Loss,' He murmured, seeing me so,
and I, the mournful Man, got to digging.
The first day of spring is just about the corner, which means that the gates to Eiliheim and Volaheim shall open once more. Eydís extends an invite to all of Regalia to put aside time in order to remember their lost loved ones. Stories might be shared, or tears might be shed.
