┏━━━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━━┓ THEME VOICE ┗━━━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━━┛ Character Information Full Name & Title: Rathl’irel Vythaeliirn Mor-Kiir Raz-Sinnedh, “Irel the White Widow”, or “Penumbra”. Tresse’ila Halafarin-Myrdde, or “Tresselyn” [The name of Irel’s chosen alter-ego]. Race: Kathar, Cult of Pride. Crimson Witch. Age: Fifty-four. Gender: Woman. She/they. Sexuality: Asexual. Eye Color: Purely black & decorated with specks of red light. Core Concept Irel is faithful to the Mother Odella, albeit she (like most other Abyssals) emanates this so-called “knowledgeable virtue” through the lens of her own unique & oftentimes selfish interpretation. Additionally, she tends to worship the Prefects of Body, Envy, and Pride. As an Abyssal obsessed with self-preservation, Irel takes extreme measures for extreme results; from testing the bounds of her own mortal shell to withstand voidal essence, to camouflaging among natural opposites for the promise of power, she is nothing if not a sorceress with desperate ambitions. Proficiency Information Caster Ranged Combat +20 Theater Art +15 [+5 from Racial Boost] Sorcery +12 Linguistics +6 Instrument Art +5 [+3 Hobby, +2 Points] Vocal Art +3 [Hobby] Circus Art +2 [Hobby] Fineweave Art +2 [Hobby] Body Stat: 15(0.5) + 2(0.5) = 8.5 = 9. Ability Information Crimson Witch Kit [11 Abilities] Sorcery [Void]: Astral Being 2 True Path 1 Power Curse 3 Flux Shift 5 Light Mend 1 [Sorcery Skill] Kathar Specials: Ageless Arcane Mastery Elder Satisfaction Vice Sense Bone Song Dread Rebirth Den of Illusions Void Manifest Evolution of the Wyld [Inactive] Kathar Abilities: Magical Storage Body Claws Eyes of the Hunt Hack Familiar Magic Dagger Essence Corrupt Languages Common [Free] Katharic [Parent] Altalar [Linguistics] Aontaithe [Linguistics] Appearance Information Irel’s trifling with the Void has marked her with many mutations, such as: protruding horns from her forehead & cheeks, a writhing excess of eight eyes in total, insect-like spikes jutting out from her knees, elbows, & shoulders, blemishless flesh & ritualistic tattoos that seem to alter with time, ebony nails akin to claws, & lastly, a rotten consistency of her own blood & tears that appear as blackened tar. Sickly, frail, fairly tall (approximately 6’6), & framed by a long trail of white hair tainted crimson, the White Widow is often either perceived as a grotesque demon or a strange & haunting image. Tresselyn, the name of Irel’s [Abyssal Body 2] alter-ego, appears as a Lesarra Altalar with a medium build & height, cloudy blue eyes, & platinum blonde hair nigh always knotted in a bun. Life Story In an estate sheltered & hidden within one of Sinnedh’s many dense forests, Irel was born to an Abyssal of the Pride Cult, Chyn’nesstrë Vythaeliirn Mor-Kiir Raz-Arrokhemaar, who had established a Crimson Witch Sect in the Highlands consisting largely of the Kaahl Vythaeliirn. In developmental years, Irel was indoctrinated into the creeds of both Odella the Mother & the Cabal, of whose rites were mostly interchangeable. In Irel's 30th year, she ascended as a Crimson Witch through ritual. She tired of the Highlands, & upon her mother’s guidance, took her first steps of independence in Tanaar Llarana by taking on the appearance of a Lesarra. Her time spent there proved ultimately unproductive, as it only took a couple of years to be found out as what the other Altalar concluded to be either an imposter or a reject. She finally found her footing in Narseth Charossa, Teled Varren, where she wormed her way into the ranks of a local, Power Cult-heavy Crimson Witch Sect who sought to take advantage of the Kathar-Altalar war. Though technically successful, Irel’s self indulgence was an obstacle to the expectations that were set for her. Once eventually called back years later to her roots, that of the hidden Vythaeliirn Kaahl in Sinnedh, her unsatisfactory progress was evaluated. Irel was spat into the palm of the Crown Isle with the demand to broaden her ambitions. Ideally, it was here in a city where the occult swarmed & politics raged that an Abyssal could thrive, evolve, & correct her legacy. Progression Information Warrior Level 2, Sorcerer Level 1.
@microwavemmm Please expand your life story and make the changes in RED. Other than that I see nothing wrong with this application.
@Anarchizm Made changes to Proficiencies, Sorcery, and Physical Stat in accordance with the update (and aged Irel down! I found that a younger age suited her better).
Tentatively approved. You may be asked to dial back the amount of abilities on the character some point in the future.
@Mollymock I rearranged some prof points to add another sorcery spell! Changes made in this color. Edit: Also switched +13 Glaive w/ +5 Spear, & +8 Heavy Bow w/ +16 Heavy Bow.
Including your Sorcery Spells, Crimson Witch abilities and Heavy Bow Mundane Techniques, you have a huge amount of abilities on this character. I ask that you tone this back, so that they do not seem quite so stacked.
Would it be fine to just take off 4 points from Heavy Bow? I figure that keeping the ability Flux Shift V wouldn't be too much of an issue since it's strictly aesthetic, but I can understand if that's still not enough. My intention with reworking the combat points was to make Irel more of a range-based combat character instead of a melee one. If there's a better way I can do that w/out making her overpowered, I'd way rather have that!
@Mollymock I went on to add the change I mentioned above, while putting the extra points into Circus Arts 'cause Circus Art aesthetic's neat. Made the new edits in blue. Lmk if there's something else I should do!
Racial boosts for Hobby Proficiencies only come into play when you invest 10 points in a prof. Make this edit then we should be good to go.
@Mollymock No profs changed, but I forgot to add the actual spell that came with an extra 3 points in sorcery. I put in True Path I (as I initially meant to lol) but figured I should tag for a re-review anyway since it's technically a new spell.
Needing a Re-Review! Switched out Flux Shift III for Home Enchant II, & changed linguistics language from Modern Altalar to Altalar for the update.
Hey there, sorry for another edit so soon - but I decided to get rid of some points I wasn't using & replace them with something that made more sense! @Mollymock Edits made in purple.
@BiBiBirdie i made an oops & just now realized that caster ranged goes into the Warrior Forced Talent & not the Sorcerer one, so as a heads up i switched my Progression Talents accordingly to Warrior Level 2 & Sorcerer Level 1.
