⬦一◅❁▻一⬦ The Mistress of Conduces, Novellia Reinard av Fristadvlom announces the sanctioning of the duel between Duke Theopold Kreiburg and Duke Abelhard Latimer. The purpose of the duel is to settle disputes between both parties. There are no designated rewards for the victor. The Rules of Engagement are as follows:⬦ The duel is to be done personally by both men of the Peerage and not by any substitutes such as champion, houseguard, or family member. ⬦ No armor is to be worn by either combatant. ⬦ Regular weapons will be available in racks around the arena. ⬦ Mundane abilities only until the actual duel is over. This means neither the combatants nor anyone in attendance may use occult abilities until a victor is clear, a draw is called, or the duel sanction is expired by the Mistress of Conduces. ⬦ Medics designated to be present and to tend to combatants, in the incident of injury, are: ➺ Mosmo Duviri ➺ Lily Janssen ➺Duchess Novellia Reinard av Fristadvlom⬦ In respect to Duke Latimer’s request, only mundane healing methods are to be used on his person. ⬦ Only family members, guests invited by the combatants, and members of the Imperial Court may be present witnesses to the duel. ⬦ VICTORY CONDITION: The first to three strikes on his opponent.➺ After condition is fulfilled, no man may fight the other afterwards. ➺ No matter the result, the issue between both men is to be ended.⬦ Should the Mistress of Conduces feel an infringement upon rules or an increased danger in the duel. She has the right to cancel the confrontation. ⬦ The fight is scheduled for the 22nd of March 309AC.
