Core Concept
Ichiko is the head of the noble Akizuki clan, who traces its lineage back to Akizuki-no-Kyōke, faithful friend to the first Sheng Emperor, and the first worshiper to Liu-Xing. As her father's eldest, she was meticulously prepared to succeed him from a young age -- schooled in matters of finance, etiquette, tradition, and of course, the family's trade. In matters of business and duty, she is the perfect successor; diligent, sociable, and polite. In laxer settings, she's much more brash, having spent most of her life around craftsmen and warriors. Ichiko holds herself steadfastly to the teachings and traditions of Liu-Xing and the generations that came prior.
Appearance Information
Ichiko stands at an average height, with meticulously styled raven-black hair, and jade green eyes. At first glance, it's clear that her appearance is tended to carefully by herself and an assortment of handmaidens. Her Common isn't perfectly unaccented, but certainly good enough to engage in diplomacy. When not swathed in traditional robes and silks, she's often out-and-about experimenting with the fashion of Regalian nobility.
Combat Style
None, Ichiko does not participate in combat.

Life Story / Plot Hooks
- Ichiko was born in Shinohara, at Inabayama Castle -- her family's stronghold, an impressive complex from which the clan's greatest flagships were created, and where their wyverns were reared. No effort nor expense was spared in raising an heir that would continue on the family's long legacy of duty and excellence. The young girl had little time for leisure, but took to her lessons exceedingly well.
- Ichiko took a particular shine to the jade-powered airships, from which the family earned its reputation, and the wyverns that were deployed from them. Her family was blessed with more children, hotblooded boys who were all eager to serve as officers and strategists, while the eldest daughter remained home to manage the family's business and assets.
- The young heiress heads to Dexai, and the wall, in order to further her education and to gain inspiration for her craft. Despite the relative rarity of foreigners, her interactions with them are plenty fruitful. In visiting her brothers during their time on duty at the Jade Wall, she develops a bevy of airship arms to help push back the Akula.
- Tensions rise as news of the Emperor begins to spread through the Zhong Kingdoms. The clan's history with the dragons and their Archon is well documented, which puts them on the war path of the king of Huo-chang -- who demands they renounce their support for the Emperor and back his claim instead. Not wishing to have their weapons turned against other Sihai, Ichiko orders the family's exodus west, fleeing the civil war with a majority of their wealth and assets.
