Whoa, have fun getting to know a bit more about me
I've been on the server for about two years now, and it's been mostly a good ride except for some rough starts. The first time I logged on I was bombarded with general messages and not knowing how to use the chat at all, I clicked on a villager that wanted to sell me tobacca, then spam "How do I get regals???" in general chat and finally not know how to get out of a pm's after clicking a player's name. And then I left for about a month, until I came back and continue to learn. I spent most of my time as a Alt-Regalian turrall sailor who had a silver tongue and fought with a saber, he was cool. I would go around the city talking and trying to get ahold of CRP and failing miserably. I remember clearly having his arm being broken by an orc. Other than that I moved on and spent a good chunk of my time on the forums and in a faction. Until around late last year a good friend @BeashSlap helped me get back into roleplay on the server. Joining up with a boxing group that I soon came to like. Letting me expand my group of friends.
But like most the group slowly died out and I came to just playing around with the silver tongue sailor until finally moving on when I found out about the slums, seeing the what terrors lurked. Making my new and improved character. Markolf Siegward, a knightly cook that I took my time to make and think of for once. After so my main and first ambition being to actually join up at a small shop called The Smiling Fox, ran by Annju and Athelois. Both of which I've come to hold as some close friends even to today. But in return to becoming a guard I instead somehow joined with a gang of criminals and aberanths called the Red Rooks, which helped me spread further out and actually experience the community. Meeting people like Katiesc, MantaRey, Nath_n and Vegemiite. (my favorite aussie). Spreading out and actually incorporating me into what was Massivecraft. Later landing a spot as the owner of the Jade Rooster and leading me on to interact with the world with gang shenanigans and wars against elven empires. Leaving us here today where the Rooster may not be getting as much business as it use to, but it still stands.
Now I've got to say this is one of my lower times on the server, my peak being around late Spring and early Summer this year, but lets leave Massive for a bit, go on about me.
- I live in Southern parts of the USA, my time zone being CST for anyone wanting to know
- I'm currently pursuing areas in agriculture and business in cattle farming, both being subjects I've taking a serious interest into and that I wouldn't mind actually pursuing.
- Currently I'm trying to pick up guitar lessons soon and learn some Korean.
Media and Things I like
-Games - RPGs and lots of strategy based / bullet hell single player games
(These include but are not limited to: Rimworld, LISA the Painful, Darksouls, Stardew Valley and The Gungeon)
-Visual Media - Any horror movies or any Quentin Tarantino Movies.
(Also a couple of anime from time to time, like Konosubra, Space Dandy and Houseki no Kuni, also both Kill Bills, and Pulp Fiction being my favorites.)
-Music - It's hard to actually pinpoint what music I like, it's usually a mix of. 80s pop and Rock, 70s rock along with a mix of bluegrass, blues and the Beatles with other bands similar in style. To today with modern, alternative rock, grunge, pop and some mixes of metal. With a dash of laid back lofi-hiphop and JPOP, 90ish JPOP to clarify. there's a difference
(To name a few: 60's Yellow Submarine, The Beatles // 70's Hooked on Feeling, Blue Swede // American Pie, Don McLean // Bad Moon Rising, CCR 80's Sunglasses At Night, Corey Hart // We're Not gonna take it, Twisted Sister. // Come on Feel the Noize, Quite Riot. 90's Rooster, Alice in chains // 1979, The Smashing Pumpkins // Zombie, The Cranberries 00s-18 Hand, Barns Courtney // Fluorescent Adolescent, Arctic Monkeys. // Revolution, Green Day // Dress Down, Kaoru Akimoto ) I'm very passionate about music btw.
-Other? - I've been getting into DnD and more table top roleplaying as of late, I've gather up a few friends and have begun DMing a campaign, and it's been fun. Other than that I read a bunch, like book wise and manga since I don't have much time to watch it.
(Currently my PCs are solving a murder mystery on a sailing cruise ship, and my favorite manga being Dungeon Meshi and Goblin Slayer)
Things I'm working on
Mostly I've just been working on improving my art, both digital and traditional. It's something I see as relaxing and easing for me to do, also it's just a good skill or hobby for someone to have. Pastry like cooking is something I've liked as well, my favorite being Red Velvet Cakes. Other than that, skiing is something I would like to try more, I took a liking to it when I first tried it back in December last year. But for now I'll be sticking to art and some gardening I've been doing.
Other things to end with
- Massivecraft has been my first roleplaying experience
- I own a Yorkshire Terrier and a Cat
- The Nameless King almost made me break my controller
- Space / Westerns are my favorite themes. Bonus if it's space westerns
- Sweet Potatoes are my favorite veggie, and my favorite fruit are pears.
- Favorite Desert is either Red Velvet Cake or Pound Cake
- My blood type is AB and I'm a Gemini
People that have helped me and I appreciate a lot
