• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I Just Though I'd Leave This Here!

I don't know whether I should be laughing... or genuinely concerned.
Hell, this is the internet, I'll laugh.

Not sure why but I laughed.. I am a horrible person ;_;

It's funny because, commonly, people laugh at the pain of others.
๖ۣۜIt didn't exactly answer his question. You just said people like to laugh at the pain. He asked how people ever could. Which I agree with Mac, some of those things where the person comes out okay and un-hurt is funny, but if they seriously slam like that... Ouch. XwX

That looked horribly painful. How is that funny?
There is no set in stone scientific reason why people find the misfortune of others as funny. There are however several theories that might explain why; most likely a combination of comparing their misfortune to your own, feeling better that 'at least you're not that guy' as it were, subconscious envy and the alleviation of said envy through misfortune, thus causing an elevated feeling, or more lightheartedly seen as that laughter is the best medicine, where as a painful experience might be seen as a negative, laugh it off and it's a humorous misfortune.

Could be any of these, could be none of these.

These "challenges" are plain stupid, what's the point of lighting yourself on fire or risk contacting a frostbite just so you can gain an arbitrary increase in social status?

That, and people sometimes laugh when they have not idea how to respond.

It really does. The reason as to how someone could, is that it's not happening to them. It's happening to another person.

@AnyoneThatFeelTerribleForLaughingAtThis
These people probably put it up so you could laugh at it. THey made a mistake and could've choosen not to upload.

It is for a good cause with a funny social tune, let's say you are scared to do it you'll have to donate to a ALS charity

Getting blackmailed and forced to pour a bucket of icy slush over your head unless you donate to medical research doesn't sound very fun.
๖ۣۜIt isn't really blackmail. It is more like one of those 'dares'. In fact, you can easily just say 'no' to it and refuse. Easy to say no and stick to it, isn't it? And... Medical research. To be fair, that sorta thing really does need some money...
