I have not played since last year, and I haven't been keeping up the lore. So, is there any lore that is general enough for me to require knowing?
Note: I have read about the magic update and the school of medicine.

The Dakkar are unplayable and the Ur have been replaced by the Url. A few races might have also undergone changes while you left. Witchblood and Dragonblood are things now. Cedromar cut off a lot of hair. A lot of cool weapons and combat schools are out. The Sewers have been replaced by the Slums. Russians live with the Greeks. Allar are first rank citizens.

Amongst other things.

The Last Year Unabridged: Abridged Edition.

Estel came back and turned some people in a battle into Seraph? maybe? then they went and resurrected Freya Lo from the dead along with an army of a weird half-ghost half-dust zombie undead called Deathlings. They took over, we fought back, she got prison shanked by her daughter. The end. Also Bone Zombie Monsters of Horror and Death screwed up the rest of the world.

Then Estel low key bailed and went to be a Disney Princess in the woods or something idfk.

After that it was quiet then half-war with Isldar then not war with Isldar then Isldar kill a dwarven hold. War with Songanskie then not war with songanskie then civil war between songanskie that we were like naw lets not and let happen.

The Elven Empire reformed because we went over and genocide the shit out of them because they killed our lord and savior Charles Montaolivegarden. (Montagarrde or however you spell it). We are still at war with (once vaguely allies elven states) the Elven Empire, DRAGONS are back making BBQ Ailor (A fine delicacy I must say) and. Um... Guards are at war with the slums low key? Off and on? Sorta ish.

As for actual LORE, magic was redone entirely and now requires a thing called Trustee to make a mage. Its like a 'your a good roleplayer and member of the community pat pat' thing so you get to do a liiiitle more. Basically shows that your trusted enough to do alright with some more restricted permissions. Which works pretty good so far. Also Dragon Blood is a thing. And Witch Blood. Ur are gone, replaced with Parasite Bulls (Url). ALSO the Emperor Abdicated the throne to Cedric so Cedric is empy now.

.... Hmmm.... Ah. A lot of Language info was added. Weapons were added. I think I hit most of the major points that I can recall at least.

Welcome back!

current arch for those that need a tl;dr

Otherwise, there's some cool stuff. Some general stuff because idr what was released exactly in the past year.
  • New trustee system for special permissions.
  • Silveirall are now known as Silven, and have different eyes to go along with that.
  • Dakkar are gone.
  • Say goodbye to Ur, and hello to Url.
  • If vampirism isn't your flavor, try Witchblood. (Trustee permission™)
  • Oh yeah, the Vices and Virtues are Arken now, and have different names. Yeah, I need to read up on that one too.
  • There's Dragonblood now too. (Ultra Supreme Progression permission™)
  • The slums are pretty cool but activity there is sporadic.
  • Yanar reproduce differently now, no more genital questions. They can be muscular (kinda) now too but like. They're not super fighters still.
  • Rocks? Rocks and stuff.
  • Also pointy stuff for you to fight with.
  • If you want your character to be skilled in something, there's a school for that™. Or not. There's a lot of cool new combat and intellect schools though, including stuff like music.
  • Did I mention there's a language page now? And one for language tags too.

uhh that's all I got for now.

@Suzzie

Sorry for cutting in here but can you link me to where I can find out more about progression permission?

Progression what? I.. don't know what you mean by that.

If you mean by Dragonblood, you need to contact Lore staff about that one. I'm no longer staff and I know as much as you do about such things.
