While I'm sure most people have forgotten me, back in November, I took art commissions from the community.
Unfortunately, I was physically not capable of meeting those demands.
To be entirely transparent, I work as the Lead Software Architect for a law enforcement technologies company. In short, that means that I oversee a lot of complex systems in the design and implementation of software for things like body cameras, web server back-ends, live servers, digital evidence security, etc. When I took those commissions on, I did so without the realization that my job would expand to encompass not only a full-time programming role, but a management role as well and with that, I completely failed to deliver on my promises.
MassiveCraft and gaming in general was pushed to the back of my mind for so long, since so many different design stages were happening back then that it made it exhausting to come home and find any motivation to work on any commissions.
I didn't forget about the people I made promises to and it absolutely haunts me that I feel like I cheated you. That was not my intent at all. I just got so busy with my life that everything non-work related felt like it could be pushed off to another day. Another week. Another month.
I tried to keep people updated as best as I could, but by January, MassiveCraft wasn't even a thought in my mind.
I am so, so sorry for what I did and I really hope that no one has any lasting animosity toward me for it. According to one of the staff members, everyone should have received their refunds back in February.
Because of this, and my inability to make any lasting promises for a schedule, I will not be taking any more commissions for artwork. I know that this is extremely disappointing for a lot of people, since many of you seemed to really like my art style, but it's just better for me to not make any promises that I can't keep.
I will be slowly transitioning back into the game, however, because I do love MassiveCraft and its community.
I am so very sorry.
