I just wanna see how many players there are from each "generation" so to speak... vote in the poll above please. You can chat about the "good old days" below if you want to :D

My "Good Old Days" are from 1 year 6 months ago all the way up to about a year ago. The last great event that I consider to be in my "Good Old Days" was Creeperween, the Halloween Celebration of MassiveCraft. It was also among the last of the large, multifaceted staff-backed events to occur. After that event I feel the server grew too big too fast and the staff couldn't keep up. Kudos to them for the effort they've put in though :)

So, what are your "Good Old Days"?
 
Watching my older brother accidentally blow up favouredzpv when he was giving a new member a tour.
I also remember the dayswith judeflame, bdi1234, other players, and having a whole new look upon Massivecraft when I first joined Osai. 1 year and 3 weeks on post, /seen Toxiclord_933 after a decent time after for more accurate timing.

But yeah,
I remember having 200 in any PVP skills that wasn't acrobatics was considered godly.
At that time, I just began using my character William, I had him 22 at the time.
Then I found some RP creeps.
That explains why his age is now 13. So he can't get drunk. And he can't get married.
And it's harder to stalk a child. X3
 
I hope we were allowed to round up. :3

My favourite event on the server was probably the war against Pristina. There were a few assholes on both sides, but it was a lot of fun to be involved in.
 
I am relatively new to Massive, myself and my group of irl friends started 1 week and 6 months ago according to /seen. I was the first to join, and since then I have become roleplay staff, have a faction, and have an epic (and still growing) castle. I am still in the good old days, and I am just getting started!
 
I've been on the server for around 8 months. I'd have to say my "Good old days" were my first few months (1-2) when I joined MassiveCraft. The server had a humble player of cap of 150, I was non-premium, and everything was so simple.

How things have changed...
 
I'm sorry, all I remember is Club Boom Boom & HeWhoShallNotBeNamed (caff rando) and his plans of attacking serenum...
and then there was that time when our faction fucked up his and byzanthiun's relationship, pretty much sparkin that war with rando and serenum... thats around the time all of us avgardian people decided to hop off the server to let that war burn itself out

2 years. Back when Pristina was against the world. Officer. Nickisbarry and Nashor. Officer of Pristina. Nordics. Premium was a god given. No such thing as god armor, the days when diamonds were 10 silver. The days were you cried and begged to join a faction. The days when life was simple. The days when there was a town called Aloria, when Samboi and me were friends, Igel the shop owner. Pinkcraftian empire. When massivecraft wasn't called massivecraft. Those were the days of Massivecraft. First faction was Shadowclan. In the mushroom biome of Aloria. Nuff' Said
 
I don't really remember all that much beyond my own faction to be honest. I was in the faction Foretold up in what I now know as northern Ceardia. I lived in a small hut under the sea that backed on to a cave system where I had a couple of walled of rooms containing my bed, a couple of chests and a painting. With the two little forts of Foretold, one the palace and such and the other the main town, my house and Rain's (Rain being my RP wife), I almost never left the faction territory, except of course to visit the Dragon something or other pub in Silveredge.
 
I remember Ceardia and when Daendroc first got implemented. I also remember when there was no fued between Vampires and Humans. I also remember when faction used to cost 75 silver. Some staff and other people would have remembered LewisDickson. -Starts to sob-
 
I remember buying my first diamond sword for around 12 silver, then being disarmed in silveredge.

I bought my first diamond sword for 75 copper :P I remember the days when vampires burned immediately in the sun. And the days of derpy sunroofs. And when Premiums never dropped anything (except experience, but I think this was before that.)
 
I remember Solaris, that was a lot of fun. When vampires could fly, that was for sure the good old days.
 
I joined roughly a year and a half ago. Back when being a vampire was more dangerous for your health. Those were fun days, always running from the hunter factions, or turning the tables on them and munching them. Plus I remember some of the RPs that i got involved with on the side. I think one of the funniest ones was with Techpac in the aftermath of Mrs.Baver's attack on that one island back in Ceardia. So much time spent stuck in that whole with what was left of some sort of uber alter.
Good times. Well, looking forward to another year and a half of Massivecraft. Hopefully Regalia will not go back to Hadar and kill off the rest of us.:D

Yeh whipper snappers with ya fancy bloodlustin vampires and new spawns and all the fancy smancy races n such! I remember back in the old days, when vampires could only fly up in the air a bit! And there wasn't no dang nabbit "red inquisition" or whatever you delinquents call it! I remember when Serenum was one of the biggest empires on this server! And you could start up yer own faction for only 75 silver! You have all your fancy races now, but when I first joined, we only had humans!

I only been on for a bit over a year but I still think that I have a "Good ol' times" phase as well. I have to say one of my favorite memories is walking around looking for ruins and stumbling upon a battle between Osai and Argonia. I then went on the forums and then wiki and saw that a Huge and well documented battle had taken place in which a cannon, not only MCCMO skills and gear decided the fate of a faction.

I also remember when I was a noob a couple months before that the shock when I went and saw that apparently my faction was ion a empire which had its emperor banned. I watched the ban videos of this guy called "Rooseus" and remember how my first thought was he was hacking to wear diamond armor, before I knew what premium was.
 
I have the feeling that the Chron-Hisoka war will become the "Good Old Days" for all the poor saps I invited into Docktown recently... XD
 
Nah, instead it'll give them a irrational hatred/fear of Chronikatr. At least, that's what happened to a lot of recruits in Zion during the Argonia-Zion war.

Anyway, back to the topic of the thread. I joined around 1 year and 3 months ago, or at least I think so. Back when I joined, Ellador was pretty close to being released, the Summer Festival was just about to happen, and the server seemed a lot nicer.
 
I joined Massive about four months and some weeks ago (getting close to five months now), so I missed out on a lot of the big events and "episodes" of Massivecraft. My good old days mostly revolve around my extreme paranoia over getting killed by the random passerby, wandering the wilderness of Ceardia, and digging myself an 8x6 underground base, to try and level up my Herbalism skill in secrecy.
 
I joined Massivecraft as Ceardia was opening and Aloria was just about to be deleted.

My favourite event... probably Baver attacks. xD

I'd love it if anyone has orignal images of farmlands, as I was in it, but didnt ever think it would be destroyed so didnt bother taking pics

I joined at Silveredge, I think, if thats the one with the air balloon at spawn... Last year, for about 6 months...
It was ages ago... I left for ages, then came back and Ive been playing for 3 months or so, in the new world... Im not very experienced though, seeing as i don't remember anything from Silveredge except a balloon...
